  1. Lol, my budget didn't quite extend that far. I just bought a new IS 350 F Sport. I also looked at a C350, 135i or a used 335i or E350. The 1 series M was also a possibility but alas, it only comes in a manual, plus there were none available for me to buy at the time. My last car was a Evo X MR which I had modified. It was was extremley visceral, loud, and had rock hard suspension, made the IS-F (I test drove one) feel like a pillow lol. Well done on your purchase!
  2. Awesome!!! Can I ask what other cars you considered and why your chose the IS-F?
  3. Well, I've now had my IS350 Sport for a bit over 2 weeks. Impressions? Amazed at the level of quietness and refinement. Amazed at the instant acceleration from traffic lights lol. Those daytime running light, sheez, they are bright! Am loving the little features like the side mirrors auto-dipping on reverse, and auto-folding in. Any negatives? Ipod integration. Slow to respond to inputs, and impossible to scroll fast thru a list of songs. How does one scroll quickly thru several hundred albums? And each time you stop at a page, it auto starts playing the track at the top of the page. Annoying! And the Sat Nav ... there is no auto-mute on the audio when using voice guided navigation. Annoying! Compared to my previous car (an Evo X). Apples and oranges. The Evo is extremely visceral, esp since it's been modified. The Evo's handling and performance is legendary, there's been no car in that price range that compares to it performance wise. It is definitely not a quiet car and the suspension was rock hard. I test drove a MY10 IS-F and the sales person apologised for the hard suspension, saying that the MY11 had revised settings and was 'softer'. I told him the MY10 IS-F was a fluffy pillow compared to my Evo lol. At least the ipod integration on my Evo worked splendidly, couldn't find fault with it, and the Sat Nav also auto-muted the music/radio during voice guidance. Why couldn't Lexus get this right if other manufacturer could do it? But definitely enjoying the refinement of the Lexus! This is my 3rd new car in 18 months, hopefully I'll keep the Lexus a little longer!
  4. Hi! Today I picked up a brand spanking new IS 350 F Sport in silver mica, only had 10km on the clock! This is my first Lexus. I regularly change cars, previous ride was an Evo X MR, and prior to that, a FPV F6 310. Nothing at all wrong with those cars, I just regularly change my cars. Attached are some pics ...
