  1. g;day sam it could be the vvti pulley lexus say its not repairable and dont sell the oring seal.but it is doable you just have to remove it remove the 5 10mm bolts be sure to mark it so you can put it back the same way.once apart you will see a large oring it will be hard and brittle.remove and clean get a new oring from a seal supplier.or you can just use rtv ultra grey.put back together and roberts your rello.good luck

  3. hey all this my first post i hope someone can help.is a 98 gs300 obdII compliant the reason i ask is i found a obdII port and hooked up a obdII scanner but it wouldn't connect.has anyone successfully connected a obdII scan tool.or dose it need a special toyota scanner.i need to retrieve any stored codes as the car seems to be in limp mode ie wont rev past 4000 rpm drives perfrctly idles smooth as slik just hits 4000 rpm and hits rev limiter.thanks in advance.cheers.
