Just installed the Auto Closing Mirrors (Special thankyou goes out to michael "Ashpoint" for speedy delivery and a point in the right direction over the phone before i started.. many thanks!) worked perfectly first time, and for those who may not know but they simply retract the mirrors upon locking the car and then on unlock return to normal position.. all you need to do is take the door panel off and splice a few wires depending on the year/ place of manufactor of your car and off you go.. very happy with the purchase and would reccommend it to everyone if you had been considering it..

lol yeh not a fan of the old foot brake.. my old mans a5 sportback (audi) has just a button you press for the handbrake and you can it it compress lock on..

burl woodgrain vinyl arrived today and made a start on it, here are some progress photos.. not a DIY but thought its always good to see the steps taken even if it is only a vinyl application. and my same problem i had with my vinyl eyelids is i can never seem to completly get rid of all the bubbles anyway here are the photos.. feedback welcomed:) EDIT decided to do the driver and passanger door trims tonight aswel.. (over exposed with the iphone flash)

I don't know about nsw but I rang Lexus of adelaide who put me through to toyota spare parts who had a huge range of in stock parts which gave me what I needed on the spot so I'm sure spare parts would have what you need...

809.09 installed but thats in a quote along with the tryes n rims aswel so i dont know wether they balanced out the total on different items but yeh thats wat iv got on my quote..

yeh thats what i figured.. ahk well 3m it is.. ive been looking at the CF but to me it lowers the luxury look i spose i dunno.. i do like the look but unsure if its for me.. whats the go with removal of 3m do u just re heat it and peal it off if i didnt like the woodgrain/CF whichever i go with? and on a different topic have you had any experience or know of any of the inbuilt tv/dvd headrests? i was looking at this http://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-third-generation/502668-vizualogic-dvd-headrest-installation-full-writeup.html just before and seems simple enough for me (no auto or elec background)

hey ive had a quick look through the search on the forums and didnt really find anything (for MT anyway) but was wondering if anyone had seen dash kits for a woodgrain for MT or do i just have to buy sheets of 3M vinyl and cut the excess off and whatnot.. and also if anyone had seen what the woodgrain vinyl looks like in person on the interior and if its worth it at all (not if it will look over tacky)

Soo i got the eyelids.. Easy as to install unless your a perfectionist and try to correct it after the heat gun has setthe glue off and you tear the vinyl :( haha so another set ordered.. Round 2 lol

Haha yeh its a windows down while reversing job lol.. Im looking into the fly audio system that A few people have been talking about.. But your right it makes it look that much better just getting the funds back together for lowering and wheels.. I ordered those gloss black eyelid vinyls for the "angry" headlights so ill put some photos up once their on but no huge changes anytime soon

Thats 5% on all of the windows and then i actually got the front widscreen tinted 35% to block out all the light coming in so u cannot see in from any angle.. Makes it alot cooler inside aswel but hard to see out the back at night.. Thats Illegal and instant defect in NSW. Yeh its the same in sa aswel.. But i like it so no one can see in.. Plus if i get it defected ill take it off and get it passed then put it back on.. Not an issue for me.. Haha. If you clear a defect and re do it again in NSW your car gets impounded. Off topic pity i dnt have NSW on my visits list netime soon the car meet photos look good.. Wouldve been good to come along

Haha yeh to be honest it didnt even cross my mind the car was owned by an older couple since new and it was in such good condition i never thought to ask.. But yeh i might hit up lexus of adelaide see what they say..

Hey guys not sure if anyone has come across this but iv just noticed the right side of my boot is about 6 or so mm higher than the body yet the left side is flush.. It isnt causing any issues with leakage into the boot but i can notice it and was wondering if there were any adjustments in the arms or anything before i started pulling the boot apart
