  1. DCTMS in the US. Although can't remember if I bought it from their ebay store.
  2. Steering wheel sold and on its way to the new owner!
  3. As an UPDATE I also have a white carbon steering wheel flat bottom steering wheel with ISF blue stitching in leather in excellent condition for sale... $375.
  4. Check out this link. Some pics of the wheels here. http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/topic/12379-2009-isf-for-sale/ There are 2 small places on the lip of the wheel where passing stones have caused a small amount of paint to flake off. Can be touched up quite easily.
  5. I have recently traded in my ISF. Bit of a sad day - hope it will go to a good home. Some parts that I'd like to move... 1. Joe Z intake (blue) in perfect condition with aFe dry filter (6,000 kms) - $140 for both STILL AVAILABLE 2. 20 inch black Vertini concaves - $1,700 - in great condition, no kerb rash whatsoever. SOLD Front - 20x8.5 +38 with Falken FK 453 - 95% Rear - 20x10 +38 with Falken FK 452 - 60% PM me if you're interested.
  6. PRICE DROP About a year ago, I posted an EOI on the forums for the sale of my beast. I decided to keep it at the time but now it is up for sale. Absolute faultless and the only reason for sale is to ease up cash for other investments. So it's up for sale but with a degree of reluctance and a heavy heart. Carsales link below. I would like to see it go to an enthusiast who will look after her in the way I did. I am negotiable on price and can bring the car back to stock. http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Lexus-IS-F-2009/SSE-AD-2691001/?Cr=0&sdmvc=1 Some pictures to spice up this post.
  7. I did the muffler delete before the magnaflow and yup waaay too loud. Not sure how much ear wax is in our American siblings' ears for those of them who did this and say it is not loud at all. It's defect territory from 500m away.
  8. Anyone with a modified exhaust system find that their interior panels resonate and cause irritating noise at certain a certain rev range? I run a secondary decat and installed 2 magnaflows at the rear. I didn't want any drone and basically just wanted a little bit more anger in terms of noise. After installing the magnaflows, I experienced some drone but it wasn't unbearable. In fact it sounded pretty good especially on downshifts. However, what irritated me was the interior panels resonating. The rear interior light assembly and rear door trims vibrated so badly at about 2-3000 rpms that it sounded like the muffler was rubbing or causing the heatshields to vibrate. Initially I thought it was coming from the outside of the car but when I had a mate in the rear, he pushed and prodded some of the interior trim and found that the noises stopped. It was so annoying that I had the magnaflows removed and went back to the stock mufflers. It just wasn't a Lexus when the interior panels vibrated and buzzed. Just wondering whether those of you with full systems and headers have the same issues inside the car?
  9. My first pics were in page 4 I think when I collected the car from Lexus. Here are some updated pics...
  10. I'm loving the shine on your dark coloured cars... Adds an extra level of "meanness".
  11. For those of you who wanted to see what chrome looks after plastidipping, here are some pics of my Prado. I haven't hit the ISF grille yet as I haven't had time to look at how to remove the grille. Prado grille removal was easy... Smoked and glossified the rear lights too. I smoked first and the glossified a week later which probably wasn't the best. The rear badges are all blackened as well.
  12. I high pressure wash my car regularly and no matter how hard I hit the Plastidip it just clings on. If I scratched the edge and hit it with high pressure I'm sure it would peel.
  13. All the best with the sale Marco
  14. I also plastidipped my white ISF badges in the rear. The stuff is so addictive so I masked off the front bumper and plastidipped the centre to give it the new face spindle look. Unfortunately it has taken on an evo x sort of look instead. I've left it on for now but not sure if I'll keep it on...
  15. Hi everyone I'm undecided at this stage whether to sell or keep my ISF. There isn't really a need to sell and I'm happy to keep her. If I am offered a decent price I will let go. My wife wants to buy another house and I can't do that and keep the ISF as well. I bought my ISF from Lexus of Perth in March this year and have used it sparingly as I have another car.
