    SOLD

23.5k! Needs to go! Honest seller. Nothing to hide!
  2. Any ideas anybody?! It's starting to become a pain with the heat, as i can't adjust the strength of the cooling/heating!
  3. Hi guys, I tried to do find a search button but couldn't find it or am i just blind?! So please don't flame me! Topic as stated, my cars a 2008 Lexus IS250 X edition - 90,000kms. My touchscreen suddenly stopped working a couple days ago, and i've done some reading on the US websites who have posted a DIY however! I am not confident in carrying out the task and was wondering if anyone has done this themselves? Or had this issue also. Everything else works fine, the buttons around, everything else but the touch except one button on the info where i can press, that's it though. The task involves pulling out the unit, finding the digitizer and using conductive pen to repair the trace on the ribbon/digitizer. I called up Complete Options in Clayton on Westall Road (as i've used them before for alarms and audio and they do good work) however not being a regular or knowing any of the workers, i was quoted $550 for replacement (OEM) touch screen and labour. After reading this common issue and that it is a 'digitizer' issue that can be fixed for under $30 i am thinking twice about replacing the actual screen. I would be happy to pay someone or a pack of beers or something to do this. I am located in Keysborough - Victoria. Any help would be great! Thanks guys, Mac For reference: https://snapguide.com/guides/fix-the-touchscreen-in-a-lexus-is350/
  4. Hi mate, not interested in parting out the mid-pipe. Looking to just sell as is!
  5. Updated with some exterior pictures.
  6. Ogkiko, it says near the end that i'll get it up ASAP which is most likely later tonight once i am home. My network at the moment i'm using has blocked the website i use to host pictures. Otherwise contact me via email or mobile (text) for pictures.
  7. Hi guys, I've got my car up for sale due to a genuine reason! I'm looking to upgrade to a larger car for practicality. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the car, besides some minor cosmetic faults. The car gets driven daily. It has log books until 60,000kms at Melbourne Lexus from previous owner and then serviced every 5,000kms. 2008 Lexus IS250 X Edition - Limited edition Arctic Blue - Automatic - Just over 86,000! (Minor service just completed at approximately 84,670kms with Nulon Fully Synthetic 5w30) - Genuine INGS+ lip kit - Invidia midpipes - Color coded Roof wing - Colour coded Boot lip (For those who have money to spend, moulding these into a one piece with the boot look sick!) - Aftermarket 6000k HID KIT for headlight + fog light - KU33 Tyres (Cost me $1200 at the time) And all the standard + fully optioned bonus these cars come with. - Factory upgraded sports suspension (very firm and smooth) - 14 speaker stereo system (Mark Levinson) including subwoofer DVD/CD/MP3 - 5 spoke 18" wheels with Kumho KU33 tyres - Bluetooth Hands-free connection - Satellite Navigation - Metal scuff plates - Sunroof - Rear reverse camera - Sports pedals - Smart key (You can leave the key in your pocket and function the car) - Push start button Whatever other features i have not discover since owning this car! -_- A few cons (usual stuff) - rock chips on front bar/lip - cracked front lip (can get lip repaired and painted for $350 extra) - gutter rash on wheels (from previous owner) - Slight marks on LHS of front bar/panel due to light hit and run in parking lot but not very noticeable - A mark on the an interior sliding piece that covers the ashtray/ cigarette lighter (from previous owner) Approximately 9-10 months registration (need to double check!) and no Road Worthy Certificate (RWC). The car is a head turner and definitely stands out due to it's colour and cosmetic add-ons! The mid-pipes also give it a little grunt on acceleration yet quite on idle! Price: $26,500 ono Shoot me some reasonable offers, the worst i can say no, or if lowballed - ignored. Pictures: Otherwise, please contact me as below! Contact: Mac Email: mezloren@live.com Phone: 0403 518 974 - Text only please Location: Keysborough, VIC.
  8. I'd go 19" at max tbh, it's good size and you can go a bit more on the width and offset to get a more aggressive look. Even 18's look great, and you can lower your car more if you're into that stanced slammed scene. For example - 18 x 9 fronts 18 x 10 rears.
  9. Off-topic but how much do they retail at dealers? They're the L-Scimitar wheels or something!
  10. Will keep a lookout for the changes! Thanks again for organising dude! :)
  11. Welcome back Kyo! Install mine last week still running stock axle back exhaust! Paid 50$ - but thats because my friends are mechanics. Hell smokey and stinky upon first few days of driving, but goes away! Sounds similiar to video linked two post above, but i think the video makes it sound more 'graspier' than it is. Very subtle though! I like it but it's not loud enough :( Overall very happy with the product and the quality. Acceleration does feel a bit better also!
  12. ^ theres a video of it with stock exhaust and invidia. Sounds awesome imo. I'll be getting mine done soon, don't mind the sound, once you get an axle back i think it'll be a bit more droney. YouTube:
  13. Can't wait for this - just waiting on your quote and bank details Kyo! Whenever you're ready ;)
  14. Hey guys - so i'm interested in the price also depending on the price and if it fits my budget. Count me in, there are probably more people who are interested but haven't subscribed to the topic like I myself. 5. Mez1103
  15. +1 i'm interested in the INVIDIA too guys, ive seen sites where they go for about 350/370$. Keep me in the loop, maybe we can all group buy to save costs like stated.
  16. Hey mate, well my setup for my front breaks is as planned. The OEM brake pads are way too dusty, so i have chosen the Bendix General CT disc pad set for $151.55 a pair DBA disc brake rotors front for $136.55 each But i think these are just a tad over priced so i'll get back to you with other quotes soon.
  17. Just for a piece of mind, i think rotors are a couple of hundred a pair? and a pair of brakes pads shouldn't be much more than 120 AT MOST for OEM. You can get aftermarket rotors/pads for varying from 100-250 equal to or better quality than OEM, so i assume OEM shouldn't cost that much. Maching would cost about 15-30. My mate at volkswagen quoted me 15$ per rotor to be machined. I actually am in need of a set of rotors+pads also, my mate at volkswagen will get me a quote, and i'll keep you posted about it, if you like :)
  18. Sorry for the slow reply Champ! Nah, i just decided to get a quote for my own piece of mind. Based on what he said, i assume he means just molding it into one piece, without raising the sides, but i highly doubt it'll cost much to do so anyway. I didn't go in depth discussing it, so i can't help you on how far to shave it down! You can contact him via his email on his website though? His very experienced and reputable.
  19. Moulding into a one piece is a big job, I got quoted by one of the best panel beaters in Melbourne, DT Panels. Everyone sends their cars in, especially the cars you see in fast fours etc! I got quoted 600 just for moulding and raising. Just thought I'd let you guys know for some piece of mind! Edit: well not big but takes skill and time to get it looking right and even!
  20. Thanks Coconut! I'll be checking out one next weekend.. Can't wait! Really hope it's the one, got some big VIP Baller plans for this IS250 ;) Such a shame the market is dead ATM, hopefully my evo sells out soon too.
  21. Hey guys, My names Mac and So I'm a newbie to the forum! I actually haven't purchased a Lexus yet but I'm hoping to next week prior to inspection! I drive an evolution 7 mildly modified (looking at 260-270kw atw once tuned) which is for sale, I am quite young still and unfortunately have to find a P plate legal car! Looking forward to meeting new members once I find the right IS250! Cheers guys :)
