  1. Nah, would be less than 2 finger gap height wise. Just looks that way from the angle combined with 15mm spacers. 20mm spacers look more flush, but you get rubbing problems in the front. I've got 245/275 tyres though that really square up the sidewalls though. I'm very happy with the Swift springs. Very nice drop that looks even all round. It feels just a tad firmer than stock, hard to tell. Perfect drop IMO, still legal and practical with plenty of room underneath the car. I love the set up, I'd only personally get coilovers if I had the harsh 2008-2009 IS-F.
  2. I thought I'd update this thread. Here is my IS-F lowered on Swift springs, and with the 15mm H&R spacers. Loving it! I've got 245/275 sized Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, no rubbing or guard mods needed.
  3. Look to Japan and see what they are achieving with their IS-F's! The likes of Icode are up to what, 350rwkw now? As for Australian market, just have to wait for that rumoured LF-LC twin turbo lol!
  4. It's only 5-6 years old so if it's been maintained you shouldn't have anything to worry about. These cars are just about bulletproof. Servicing costs vary from dealership to dealership. Call your local dealership and ask them mate, better to find out first hand for yourself. ;)
  5. Got bored and went for a christmas cruise....
  6. Michelin Pilot Supersports in 245/35R19 size are $350 each at Tempe Tyres!
  7. Congrats Mark! You'll totally love the IS-F mate, so nice to drive! :) Nice and sedate when driving normal, and a beast when you give it some stick! I can't get my wife out of mine, she won't even drive our Honda anymore now lol! :p
  8. Nice one Marcus! I installed my AFE dry panel filter yesterday, but I'm still waiting on my HPS intake tube which should get here today hopefully. Love the placebo effect from changing filters haha! My butt dyno says it's got a bit better response lol! :)
  9. This is Linea Corse 19x10+38 square set up that a few guys in USA are running. This car has 245/35R19 front and 255/35R19 rear tyres. These wheels are 32mm front and 29 rear poking out extra over stock. Not sure what issues these guys have either. Looks mean though! :)
  10. To be honest, I think you will struggle with that offset. It's a whopping 42mm front, and 39mm rear poking out from stock! 15mm-20mm looks pretty flush from what I can tell, you got 20mm spacers already don't you? I've thought about going to a square set up, would be nice for extra front grip, and for the ability to rotate tyres around.
  11. No worries man. I just ordered 2 sets of H&R DRS 15mm spacers with extended studs from USA. They were US$100 a set. Got me a HPS silicone intake tube as well! :)
  12. thats pretty cheap Yeah, I have been on to them about stocking these discs for us. It's a big saving over getting them shipped from USA. :)
  13. Are those Dixcel prices for each rotor or a pair? The price seems nice and cheap, as well as cheap shipping!
  14. Just change them yourself. It's a quick and easy job.
  15. Where did you end up getting your spacers? Locally or eBay? I'm waiting for my Swift springs to turn up at the moment, and was going to go 15mm spacers with extended studs.
  16. Project mu are selling brake discs here now, $700 a pair. Not bad at all! http://www.project-mu.com.au/en/products/rotor_crd.php
  17. The size everyone goes to is 245/35R19 front and 275/30R19 rear. I'm running this size in Michelin Pilot Super Sport and I will never go back to stock tyre size! I can't comment on the Pirellis other than every tyre test I've read places the Michelins at number one.....
  18. About 450kms per tank seems to be average for my ISF. Sometimes less, sometimes more..... Wouldn't be banking on much more than 500kms or so even if you baby it all the time. The missus drives it to work during the week, and I get to blow out the cobwebs on the weekend lol! :p
  19. Over the '10 model, the '11 has got DRL headlights, diffent gauge cluster, more responsive power steering, and more dampening tweaks (slightly softer springs and stronger dampening). The '12 model got the new Sachs dampers instead of the old Tokico's, and nicer 1/2" wider wheels. Don't think they made any changes after this though for the next years?
  20. How did you go with this? The USA guys tend to go with 15mm spacers with extended studs, looks perfect size IMO. Hows your Swift springs going? The Yanks love those too. :)
  21. $2k excess? May as well just get fire theft 3rd party lol!
  22. I'm running the Michelin Pilot Super Sports in the 245F 275R sizes and I highly recommend both the tyres and the wider size to anyone! Way more grip than the stock Bridgestones, which I didn't think were that bad. Very happy with them, but $500 a tyre they're not cheap. Can't comment on any other tyre brands on the F though.....
  23. Ok, time to ask this question again.... Just got my renewal through AAMI, the thieves want $2600. Just called Lexus insurance and they want $1900 with a few hundred lower excess, but $5k less value for the car. Called AAMI about it and they won't change. Who are people going through nowdays for a decent deal?
  24. I finally got that wheel alignment today too! The car feels a lot better now! I'll have to post the spec sheet I got, my specs were a bit out of whack!
  25. I just used a tyre size calculator lol! :p But you get the point. :)
