  1. I did try the passenger kick panel, coz i noticed the owner's manual is American, but nothing. Behind the glove box is just the cabin filter. Below it? Maybe, ill try when i get home. Cheers.
  2. Hey guys does anyone know where exactly is this driver's side instrument panel fuse box thats referenced in the owner's manual of the '07 RX350? I looked for it everywhere around the driver's kick panel but couldn't locate it. All my windows and memory seats/mirrors/steering wheel suddenly stopped working and i checked fuse 24 in the fuse box in the engine bay but it was fine so i wanted to see if maybe its one of the fuses in the other fuse box but I can't even find the damn box. I really do hope its a fuse and not a bigger electrical fault. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. What type of phone are you using (from which you managed to transfer your contacts)? I tried the contacts transfer from iPhone but it doesn't seem to work.
  4. I was also missing mine and took a risk and bought an American one. It does fit except for one issue: the clips on the backflap that connect to the headrest arms do not fit because our headrest arms are thicker than the American one so the clips simply do not clip on to them. I think I can somehow modify them to fit, I just haven't got around to do it. Considering the huge price tag of these things from Lexus (around $1500 from memory) and how rare they are in wreckers etc. in Australia, I still think it was still worth it going for the American one.
  5. I tried this as well from my iPhone 4S when I first got my car and got the same thing. It seems this feature is only supported on specific phones (Nokias from memory) but not the iPhones so unfortunately you need to start you call from the handset itself (unsafe I know) or just insert your regular contacts manually
  6. What is the problem with it? Is it giving any error message or just not lighting up at all? Did you try to remove the maps CD from the boot and reinsert it?
  7. Thanks Paul, I think I will for the later SL3i model. I will attempt the installation myself and hopefully it will go smoothly. I will try to update this post with photos etc. when I'm done.
  8. Hi Paul, You seem to be an expert in this :) I would like to install the same Vais unit in my 2007 RX350 Luxury (with Sat Nav). I looked on eBay and this seller seems to have 2 different types: Sl2i-UP and SoundLinQ3 SL3i Do you know which one would be best for my car? Thanks.
  9. Hey Paul, thanks for the reply mate. I think i'll take it to Lexus to check it out coz i really have no idea what the problem could be. Can i ask you another question, I'm seeing different behaviour on the other side's mirror: when i hold the button to adjust it all the way in any direction it doesn't just stop when it gets to the end but keeps kind of flickering. The driver's side one with the first problem doesn't do that. Do any of ur ones do that? Thanks again.
  10. I recently bought a 2007 RX350 and I am having a strange issue where I have adjusted the driver's side mirror all the way to the right (out) but it is still not far enough for me to have a good view of the right side lane. About 3 quarters of it is showing the side of the car while only a quarter is showing the road and I can actually see myself in it if i just move my head slightly to the right so it definitely doesn't seem right. I tried pushing it further it by hand but it is already as far as it would go. Then I thought the actual body of the mirror itself is folded in a bit which could be causing this but i checked it and it is aligned perfectly with the bracket that is holding it to the car so I have no idea what the problem is. Has anyone had any similar problem with the driver's side mirror angle? Could someone please try adjusting their driver's side mirror all the way to the right (out) and let me if it can actually go out enough so that you no longer see the side of the car at all? A couple more issues I noticed about this mirror are: It does not adjust automatically with the memory settings The auto folding doesn't work for it Thanks
  11. Hi All, I am new to the forums and I have just bought a used 2007 black RX350 The car is missing the boot cargo cover, the one that pulls out to cover the boot, and I really want to replace it. I just called Lexus to ask how much it would be for a brand new one and I was shocked at the massive figure I got ........... :o $1300 :o Obviously I am not going to pay that much for such a trivial part so I am wondering if anyone would know where I could source one, maybe even used. I looked on eBay and there are a few that are reasonable priced but they're all in the USA. Does anyone know if the USA one would fit our Australian model without a problem? Thanks
  12. Welcome to the Lexus forums tonysalib :)
