  1. Just got a 2010 rx450h with 51000KMs from local Lexus dealer. The current tyre depth is just abt 3 - 4mm. Dealer said according to the system this vehicle was still with the original tyre (BridgeStone) and they could replace a new set for me. After purchase the deal told me this is the 2nd set of new BridgeStone 235/55/R19 tyres for this vehicle already. So they cannot replace a new set for me. But the interesting thing is the sales says that the life of tyre is abt 40000 - 60000kms. I also asked my friend, a vehicle specialist with more than 10 yrs exp, he also says that 40000-60000 is normal if the car has been treated properly. The one I just got has full service history at local dealer so I think it is under good condition. So that means the original tyre of RX450H can only last for less than 30000kms! And it happened for 2 set of tyres! I just wonder how long the tyre can last for other RX450H owners. I was confident with the Lexus technology. But if say that less than 30000kms is the normal tyre wear then it just make me so disappointed and unhappy of the local dealer Is it normal or I just met a tricky dealer?
