  1. Toyota/Lexus Oil Filters. Fits many Toyota or Lexus vehicles. Lexus gs300/is250/etc 04152-31080 $25 Pick up in north Brisbane or add $12 for shipping anywhere in Oz.
  2. This Lexus is probably one of the best buys on the used vehicle market. It combines everything every budget minded, car interested buyer could look for: performance, luxury, reliability, prestige and economic viability. This GS300 is in excellent used condition and feels as tight as a drum. It has never been in an accident. I am a second owner and looked after it very well. It is a rear wheel drive car with plenty of power and sophisticated suspension. With an excellent engine/transmission combination the car feels fast and nimble able to get round in a hurry. It can turn the corner without making the driver or passengers uncomfortable, it can get you away from the trouble with a tap on a gas pedal, and it can stop on a dime. Fuel economy is beyond expectation for a performance sedan. Real life mixed city driving will show a 10-11 l/100 km consumption, and on the highway runs it goes down to 6.5 litres. Pretty amazing. This Lexus has pretty much every single luxury feature you have about in the luxury cars review magazines. Both front and rear parking sensors, rear high definition reverse camera, countless airbags, adaptive cruise control, xenon high/low beam headlights what turn into corners, automatic light/wiper control, proximity keys, ventilated seats... The list is huge. The sat-nav comes with up to date maps. The stereo system is quite amazing. It will read and play MP3 files from the card. The quality of the sounds and its presence is outstanding. No matter what you own now - you WILL be impressed. It has been rock solid over the last three years we have had it in the family. Recent battery, new brakes all around, 10k old Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres on 18 inch Lexus wheels. The steering rack with tie rod ends was replaced by Lexus a couple of years ago under recall. So the front steering components are pretty much new. Otherwise it has required only regular maintenance. The car is clean and comes from non-smoking environment. All that the new owner it going to get at very reasonable cost. Again, all in all this is probably one of the best buys on the market. Chances are the first person is going to look at it will buy it. Location: Brisbane north side Kilometres: 147K VIN: JTHBH96SX05015993 Price: $13500 Comes with current Rego till Feb 2017 and roadworthy certificate. Contact: 0406711268
  3. Thanks. I guess it all depends in how much are you asking for wheels and condition of the tyres on the wheels.
  4. How much Would it cost to ship 4 factory wheels from NZ to Brisbane? Thanks
  5. Yes. This is my listing. $50 if you want them right away plus $13 shipping.
  6. Or very close to. Akebono ProACT 908 Ceramic Front Brake Pads $50 if you want them right away plus $13 shipping. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Akebono-ProACT-908-Ceramic-Front-Brake-Pads-to-suit-Lexus-IS250-2009-2010-/121720796378?
  7. These are the pins that tend to rust seizing the callipers. Fit IS/GS and many other. I got an extra pair I no longer require. $19 for both shipped to your destination.
  8. Turns out that gear shift knobs from variety of JDM Toyotas easily fit standard 8mm automatic shift stick found on IS/GS and I think RX Lexus series. That creates a very interesting inexpensive opportunity for an easily reversible mod. I just got one installed in my GS that came from JDM Toyota Crown Royal Saloon. What do you think? Pretty good match of the timber finish. https://b-a.d-cd.net/b4a9588s-480.jpg Apparently, other options available too.
  9. Replacing major suspension components on such a complex car as GS430 with aftermarket parts is opening a massive can of worms to deal with. This could be done, but you have to be prepared for this mentally and financially.
  10. 4851080392 ABSORBER ASSY, SHOCK, FRONT RH 259.44$ https://partsouq.com/en/search/search?q=4851080392 4852080151 ABSORBER ASSY, SHOCK, FRONT LH 259.44$ https://partsouq.com/en/search/search?q=4852080151 4853080234 ABSORBER ASSY, SHOCK, REAR RH 290.80$ https://partsouq.com/en/search/search?q=4853080234 I am sure you can look up the last one by yourself. And yeah, they are quite expensive.
  11. You can download and update the navi with the latest maps for free. This was discussed here about a year ago.
  12. Don't go to a dealership to shop for parts if you find their prices too expensive. Order your parts online and fit them elsewhere or yourself. Here we go. Without looking to deep you can have your rear strut for $250. http://www.autonationpartsdirect.com/oe-lexus/4853080234 Post your VIN here and we can check what part number you actually need.
  13. Try to price your shock absorber here. https://partsouq.com/ See what they sell it for. I have bought more than one item from that place. Excellent prices with cheap shipping to Oz.
  14. I hate to say, but it appears I am the one responsible for all this. Reading about your adventure I went back to audit every step and what I found was that after the initial incorrect ACT908 I ordered not ACT1113, but rather ACT1118 that fit right. I am sorry for the confusion. I am not quite sure at what point the numbers got mixed.
  15. That's correct. The GS300 at some point was supplied to the different market with different brake options. That is the reason why there is a mix up. Australian delivered GS300 are from the same butch supplied for European markets. This is how Australian front calipers look like. You need Akebono ACT1113 ProACT to fit in there.
  16. That's correct. The Australian website is wrong and australian Akebono sales rep is an asshole. This is the correct parts. I use these pads in all my card. Excellent performance and longevity, virtually no dust. Highly recommend them. 17. You got one hell of the way to ask for free help. 100% in this world is only death and taxes. Everything else is very much depends...
  18. You could do that I guess. But you will end up with an ugly screen sitting on your dash. That's assuming you will hide the wiring. Not very clean. If you have to replace the reader, I am pretty sure one could be found online either in Oz or internationally for not a lot of money. Good luck.
  19. Original Toyota part number is 89904-30322. This unit is new and hever been registered for any vehicle. This is the same item as 89904-30320 and 89904-30321. This should feet many year 05-08 Lexus cars equiped with proximity key system. Please check with Lexus for a correct part number for your car. Keep in mind that several years ago some Lexus cars in Australia where customers complained of poor reception with keeless entry system underwent retrofitting to a different wireless frequency. The new remotes for the upgraded system will have different part number and look the same, but will also have a word HOLD next to the boot button. If you current remote have the word HOLD then the item sold in this auction will not register for your car. So if the dealer tell you your car key part number is 89904-30322 and your current smart key does not have the word HOLD on it - you have a chance here to get a new remote for less that half of the dealer's price. Any Lexus or Toyota dealer should be able to pair a new key to the car. Takes about 10 minutes or so. Many dealers will do that for free.Original Toyota part number is 89904-30322. 20. There might be something with the disk itself. Find the unofficial image of the navi disk, burn and try it in your unit. Or ask some one to loan you their navi DVD. I am sure there are some older versions of these disks floating around.
  21. Yup. I considered GTA kit too. It is a very decent product, but I did not want to be committed to any apple devices. I did place the media player in the glove compartment as my goal would be an integration where I could control everything from the cars controls. With ipod you would be better off placing it in the centre console. Disassembly is simple. Look it up on YouTube, be gentle and take your time. You will be fine.
  22. Heh, I thought you were referring to centering rings. The set of wheels sure didn't cost 28 bucks. Not that lucky. It cost me less than $500. I was quite happy with the deal.
  23. I have researched this subject rather extensively and my conclusion was that there was nothing more cost effective for 2005 GS than the following guys. http://www.yatourcarkits.com/newer-lexus-usb-sd-aux-mp3-interface-adapter-yatour-p-154.html I had it shipped with the Lexus plug and play harness for $72 bucks. It worths every penny. Installation is simple. The player is easily routed and hidden in the glove compartment. It reads either USB sticks and SD cards. Tested up to 16 gb. It reads up to 15 folders as virtual disks in CD2 changer. You can cycle between CD1 and CD2 changers by pressing the CD button. Each folder supports up to 1000 files in MP3 format. Now, the most important thing, the quality of the MP3 reproduction is outstanding. Seriously. It may not sound as good as my pair of $500 headphones via vintage Sony audio amplifier; however, there is nothing really to complain when the decent quality MP3 goes through Mark Levinson. There are some drawbacks. You actually have to remember where exactly you put your music. There is no easy way to navigate or search for the songs. This is the inherited issue related to the lack of folder/MP3 support by 2005 GS player. This is how it will be regardless of what media player you install in there. Also, you have to name the folders following specific convention and may be few other minor things. However, the bottom line remains the same. You get a very good MP3 player with seamless integration for very modest amount of money. If you are around north part of Brisbane we can arrange the time for you to see how it performs in my GS.
