Wind Chaser, what's your idle speed when the transmission is in P and the car rattles?

Mine is booked in with Sydney City Lexus for mid-January (they said they had been inundated and this was the soonest they could do it), and yes, they said they would provide me with a courtesy car for the day. The recall work should take around 4-5 hours. What year is your model? I have a 07 model do u think it will be recalled as well ?

Is there anyway I can purchase a copy from you since I know nothing about these DVD stuff, tks

My passenger side headlight always goes off whenever my car hits a bump, it will turn it self back on if I switch it off and on again. Is this the indication of bulb is wearing out or it can be the problem of the ballast. I notice this headlight is turning bit blue lately. How much would a replacement bulb cost and which brand should I get if that is the problem

Well, your oil filter is due for a change anyway, so you'd replace the oil at the same time. While the oil change is being done, why not look at getting the upper engine cleaning service? We can argue here about the best oil to use in the future, how you should drive your car, who should service it ... But if it's consuming a litre of oil every 1000 km, chances are your intake valves aren't closing properly and are in desperate need of a clean. Thanks for the siggestion. However I just did the upper clean last service and nothing came out of my exhaust as the mechanic said it was really clean.

Don't buy them, biggest rip off on eBay. These type of shields are made of recycled material with toxic color. It has so much impurities in the acrylic that u will never get a crystal sharp view. Only worth $20, don't buy them as they are wayyy too cheap for any Lexus !

Is it necessary to change oil for my car since it is drinking 1 litre of oil for every 1000km, for 15000km service interval that means I have already filled 15litre of new engine oil. It just sounds crazy and unbelievable that 15litre of new oil has been consumped already.

I service my car at this local mechanic in Boronia and he is very professional and fair priced. 30 years experiences mechanic & he does oil change, water pump, carbon cleaning & spark plugs for my is250 and everything is good and much cheaper than Lexus dealership.

Are we gonna receive any letter from them since some of the car has change hand many times and if the address is not updated properly with Lexus

The idle is sitting at 500 but the engine rattles much worse than it was. U know usually when the gear is in P, the idle should go back up a little and this only happens every time I turn on the air cond for a long drive. It disappeared this morning when I took a 15 min drive with cold air turned on. I checked all the hoses seem OK and secure. Do u think it can be the spark plugs or should I do another upper engine clean?

I just did my carbon clean not long ago and I always use 98 Octane. But today my car start to rattling pretty bad after I turned on air con for like 60 min during driving, it drives ok on the road but rattles bad when the transmission is in P, could anyone suggest something? My air filter is brand new just replaced during last service. The car has done 150000km and spark plugs were replaced during 90000km service.

Thats $$$, they only cost $60 a pair here down in Melbourne
