Cpt. batates

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone had experience with replacing headlights, the whole unit. i have unfortunetly got damage to both of my headlights thanks to the previous owner. each headlight with DRL costs 3800 from lexus in Australia Was considering buying them from the US. but the part number is slightly different, although it looks identical. Has anyone ever bought headlights from the US and fitted them onto their IS250? im worried it wont fit or my auto-levelling wont function Thanks!
