  1. Hi lexisx I've closed the business down as I've moved overseas. I've got one more left in stick if you are interested. I can arrange for it to be posted to you. Let me know if you are interested.
  2. Hi, There is a proximity sensor for the alarm in that space. You just have to relocate it (note this may affect the performance of the sensor). I stuck mine to the roof of the car. If you were in Melbourne I could install it for you.
  3. Bump. Price drop to $90 delivered. This is the last batch I'm making as I'm heading overseas and will not be making anymore of these.
  4. Hi Cookster670 They are $35 delivered. PM me your details if you are interested.
  5. Just an update. I've done some more lighting modifications Centre Console Ambient Lighting Centre Console Cup Holder Centre Console Compartment DRL I made my own DRL controller that dims the DRL's to about 40% when the parkers come on so they can become the parker lights. I've removed the parker globes now.
  6. You can find IGN, 12V Constant and Ground in the overhead console connector. I wired my own low voltage disconnect up there. This will save you running the wires down the pillar of the car.
  7. Ok I found this diagram on the net. You cannot just simply "wire the mirror puddle lights to it." The mirror puddle lights is a negative switched PWM signal. You will need to convert this to a clean positive switched signal to feed into the headlight DRL 100% circuit. Without the rest of the circuit I cannot tell if this DRL 100% circuit is dedicated to the headlights only or the IGN circuit for other things in the car. If its a shared circuit you would need to add a diode so your mirror puddle lights doesn't turn everything else on in the car (although that would be cool). I can make a circuit that will convert your mirror puddle light signal to the correct signal. But I will need someones car to try it on as my car does not have DRL.
  8. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the DRL? I can have a look at it for you.
  9. Hi I always wondered why our Lexus’s don’t have features found in other high-end makes like Mercedes and BMW, so I embarked on a project that I just recently completed. I designed and made an electronic control module that adds the following features: Auto Door Locking/Unlocking controlled either by Park or Ignition Switch Approach/Follow me home lighting. If it is sufficiently dark the headlights will turn on as you approach the car and remain on when you exit Each of these features can be disabled so if you want one and not the other you can do that. The headlight time delay can be adjusted from approximately 10-75 seconds. Price is $119 plus $10 postage Australia wide. I am also offering installation for those in the Melbourne area. If you bring your car to me, the installation cost will be $300. It will take a day to do. I can come to you if you live in the Melbourne Metro Area but I will have to add an additional cost depending on my travel time. Enjoy!
  10. Hi, I can do custom LED installs for the IS250. Here are some examples of what I've done. Exterior Door Handle Interior door handle Door cup holder Fuel door and boot release switch Door Courtesy Lexus Logo Overhead console sunglass holder Boot Grab Handle More to come!
  11. Hi, You can swap out the overhead console for the US one and that has the sunglass holder. I even installed LEDs in it so it lights up. I can do the custom LED install for you if you source the overhead console.
  12. I am now sourcing all these components as a complete kit. Please note there is a lead time as I have to order parts of it from the States. $710 plus $20 postage Australia wide. I am also selling the QI wireless charger on it's own for $15 plus $10 postage Australia wide. This can also be removed from the kit if your phone does not support this function, I will deduct $15 out of the kit price. I also offer installation for Melbourne Metro. If you bring your car to me, installation cost is $240. This includes measuring your phone and modifying the glove box for the wireless charger. I can also do onsite installation for the Melbourne Metro area. Contact me for a price as it is dependent on travel times.
  13. Hi unco, Yes I do installations. Did you want the wireless charger installed too? I can source all components as well. Let me know what you would like.
  14. Hi I've done a few modifications to my car, mostly electronics related. Wireless Android Phone Display and Charging with Custom CarCast Application. I've integrated various devices available and wrote my own phone application to automate it all seamlessly. I can put together the wireless charging kits if people are interested. Auto Door Locking/Unlocking and Follow Me Home/Approach Lighting I've designed and made this module myself. This module is available for purchase if anyone is interested. Overhead Console Sunglass holder I purchased the US style overhead console with the sunglass holder. The installation involved relocating the motion sensor. I used double sided tape and stuck it to the roof. US versus AU Motion sensor Motion sensor relocated to roof After Lexus Logo Projector Door Courtesy Lights Before After
  15. I've just updated the CarCast App to Version 1.1. There was a bug when you switched OFF/ON the CarCast App. Check the link for the latest version and release notes. Please uninstall the previous version before installing the new version.
  16. Hi, I've notice this old post. If people are still interested in adding this feature to their cars I've made an aftermarket module that you can install to provide this feature. As a bonus the module can also add follow me home and approach lighting.
  17. Hi, I have just recently added wireless phone charging & wireless phone display to my IS250. The phone I used is a Nexus 5 running Android 5.0.1. I created a custom App called CarCast to automate the connection. I’m making the App available for you to download and use free. However you’ll have to download some supporting Apps and there is a cost for the supporting App. I have no affiliation with the 3rd party Apps. Click here for the CarCast App and instructions. I’ve still got some spare components to make the Wireless Charging kits. If people are interested I just need to order one more component to make these up. Let me know and I can put some together. Otherwise enjoy the DIY and show it off to your friends, look no wires :)
