  1. Hi, most of my mates that have some knowledge on these things, refer kings springs as *BLEEP* springs, i think they will makes your car getin lower and lower when they are around 2 yrs old. That is what happened to my bros JAMEX springs(i heard that they use the same method of production as Kings) Actually i have a question about springs myself. Did anyone heard of the brand neuspeed ? i ve heard that its a german brand but are they good? or just as bad as kings? thanks

O...ive find it hard to believe too....because i never done it before too... is it bcoz my car dont hv enough mods on? what sort of mods hv u guys fitted on your cars? my car is currently fitted wif a TRD muffler, apexi pod filter + S-AFC and im running on factory 17inch wheel. i can reach 180 in the 4th gear (i think).... but the speed cut will be on when the pin reach the bottom end of the speedo. so is it because of my shifting skills is too bad?? i change my gear when my car reach ard 7800rpm (shown on S-AFC so might b inaccurate) and actually will the RSM get rid of the speed cut as well as improve performance a little? and r they accurate? And except 4 a turbo, could u guys recommend me some mods that can make my car had the performance like you guys? THZ :)

HI everybody...recently my car had a very weird problem... i've fnd sometimes my car's rev suddenly goes higher even when i didnt press further on the gas pedal...this problem only occurs ocasionally at 1st but now it occurs very often... especially when i realease my clutch fast when changing gear...+ when i drive the car hard.. when everytime i change gear... the rev'll will stay at the same dropped rev 4 a second or more.... so ive find the response of my car is gettin bad... so its that mean my clutch is almost finish? THZ

O AUS$4000? so how much is it in NZD? ive got a quote from GT motor Sport last year, it costs $9800 shipped.. not include fiting... + i also got a quote from Crazy Racing in HK it costs HKD$36000 (when it was just release) shipped + the computer tuned... but i wonder y how can they tune it without it fit on my car.. so is that mean i have 2 tune it again when it was fitted?.. but i think the super charger really costs too much 4 only 40-50 hp increase

HI everybody.. i always been wondering whats the difference between VVTLi, VVti, V-tec and I-Vtec...one of my friend told me that VVti is nothing like Vtec... the only thing produed from TOYOTA that perform like V-TEC is VVTLi... and after the test drive of a SS 2 celica ive found VVTLi do give me more 'push my back feelin' and seemed slightly faster than our Alteeza... so to find out whether our dual vvti is that bad or not.. i had a drag battle with my friends accord sir-T... but the accord was no match for us all the way up to the 3rd gear...after that i test drive my friends accord... than ive found his V-Tec do give me a similar feel as VVTL-i too.. but how come his car is even slower than mine?? so im pretty much confused abt which is better... and y there is Dual vvti but not dual VVtli or Vtec? and when does our 2nd VVti actually goes on? i can only feel the car do go faster from ard 4800rpm - 6000rpm.. can any1 tell me plz thz

HI everybody.. thz 4 all da reply last time.. now i decide to keep my altezza.. so now im thinkin of doing some more mods to it.. wat im trying to do on my car now is to get an induction pipe to connect the lower right hand side of my front bumper to my pod filter.. ive seen that on many performance car in the magazine ... this way more cold air can be directly feed into the filter..so the car can go abit faster... but ive been lookin 4 those sort of pipe 4 a long time... + so far i only found Ralliart r selling it.. it cost around $200.. + the diameter of the pipe is just about enough to cover the whole pod filter... so do you guys think is worth the money to do such mods? and do you guys know any where that i can get these pipe cheaper? Also ive seen the race car in Macau they polish the ROUND THING(is that called thorottlebody? sorry i dont know what was that called in English.. in Chinese we called it the butterfly cover.. which is the bit that sticks just after the end of the filter) as the restriction to the race wont allow them to change the one with bigger diameter..i dunt really know why they are doin it.. is it because it makes the thing smoother and thinner so more air can be feed to the engine? so is it worth the $ 2 do such job? and what is the reasonable price for it... + is it possible 2 DIY? THZ :)

HI everybody my altezza had now done 82k already... i was thinkin of selling it as almost everybit of my car was keyed..+ so now i have 2 re paint it 4 around $2000. + there is alot of mods that i want 2 get 4 my car.. like a set of JUN fly wheel + H/D clutch kit which cost $1800... + i also wanna get a set of TRD or ZEAL coilover.. which cost ard $1500.. so what im trying 2 say is that... by the time that i can save the $$ 4 these mods .. my cars will be on 100ks already... so is it worth it 2 do mods on the car that had already done so high ks? +when the car had done 100ks.. is that mean the engine have to be recondition in order 2 hv the performance like it was new? could somebody tell me plz thz :)

Sorry for my text mssage language guys.. and thank you for answering my questions And sorry i forgot to mention that my S-AFC is a S-AFC2..and im abit regret that i brought it when it first came out last year..the price had already drop for more than $100 now haha..i probably should get a S-AFC instead of S-AFC2 because ive heard that the performance gain from both is actually similar.. and actually im not quite sure about the difference between S-AFC2 and S-AFC i just heard that.. S-AFC2 can make more accurate/detail adjustment and more setting can be saved than a S-AFC..so is there any other difference? because the instruction manual is in Japanese and i didnt play with my S-AFC2 much as im afraid that i might messed up the adjustment that the tuner had already set for me Sorry ive made you guys confuse about what im typing.. i dont mean S-AFC is something that measures da air/fuel ratio at the muffler.. i mean somebody use another sort of tools to measure some data from the muffler and use the data for the adjustment of S-AFC..so is that mean these data gained from the muffler is incorrect for the adjustment of S-AFC..hmm.. if dyno tune is really the best way to gain more power from the S-AFC.. how much would it costs?? i've heard that it takes at least $500 for any car to be dyno tune.. oh and about the engine oil thing.. i changed it every 5000km and change the oil filter every 10,000km..but is this actually correct? am i over do'in it abit? and the oil that i use is from a brand called ELF is this a good brand? And is Mobil1 is actually the best engine oil around? Thank you hope you guys can understand it more easily this time

Sorry ive got a bunch of newbie questions wanna ask..hope u guys can finish reading my crap if u guys hv time ..thz... wat do u guys think abt spraying da original wheel into da sort of charcoal/grey colour dat usually appear on most AVS model 7??? coz b4 i was think of change da wheel of da car wif ENKEI NT 03 + spray it in dat colour... but since im go'in 2 do all da N/A mods.. so i hv 2 save up some$$$$$ + now i heard of da NEW model of Dunlop FM 901 called D...something only costs $200 4 17in i heard of da performance of da tyre is pretty gd + it also pretty durable...so sounds pretty gd 4 guys wif low budget like me haha so do u guys hv any other suggestion 4 tyres wif moderate performance + durable?.. tyres like Grid 3, S-03, AD 07 or Preceda is jst too expensive 4 me... 4 da ignition thing.. i guess my car probably hv some problem wif my spark plug.. coz when i wanna start da engine... sometimes it takes a long time 4 me 2 start up da engine... like i hv 2 turn da key 4 a long time... + it takes abt 10sec 4 da engine 2 make da eeeEEEE noise 2 start da engine..(hope u guys can un wat im talking abt) is dat mean something wrong with my spark plug?? + b4 ppl tell me if u r go'in 2 imrpove da ignition thing 4 cars.. u've got 2 replace ur old spark plug wif some decent 1 like NGK or splitfire.. + da car will go even better wif some decent spark plug wire... but da boss of ST HI-TEC said UR CAR DONT RUN ON SPARK PLUG WIRE... wat does this mean???? + also ive seen alot of ppl ard had fit a thing called MSD ignition thing on their car... wat does it actually do?? is it something like a computer dat ctrl only da ignition thing? ALSO says if i really replace my entire exhaust system.. like change da header + centre pipe (i already had a TRD muffler) is dat mean i'll hv 2 change da setting 4 my S-AFC??? + i heard of some guys saids.. U MUST PUT UR CAR ON DYNO IN ORDER 2 HV BEST GAIN FROM UR S-AFC... but i heard dat most ppl who adj da S-AFC only stick something at da back of da exhaust + test out da air/fuel ratio 4 adjustment... so is it really necessary 2 put it on DYNO??? THZ 4 reading it :)

THZ everybody.. actually wat i want my car 2 be comfortable 2 drive on st while give gd controllable (since im a rookie driver) performance on track so now im still struggle wif which header 2 get.. hmm.. yea i did think of da TURBO idea b4... but it would costs alot more dan $4k coz things like injectors, fuel pump and computer is necessary for turbo.. all these + da turbo would cost me ard $10k..so it costs too much 4 me + HOON....actually da guy dat give me advise b4 its soichi in ST HI-TEC....do u think of getting a flywheel too ??? how bt we buy together .. so we might get a discount together... + actually im abit confused wif top-end pwr + mid range pwr thing... so is top end mean 5000rpm-7000rpm + mid range mean 3000-5000 rpm?? +keith u can hv my old flywheel if u want THZ very much everybody

HI everybody... im wondering which exhaust manifold should i get 4 my car... should i get a HKS 4-2-1 manifold or the 4-1 racing version???? at da beginning of this yr a guy tell me dat 4-1 is better ...but now he said 4-2-1 is better 4 st use...so i dunt know whether i should still trust him or nt ...so which 1 u guys think its better 4 me? + also ...do u guys think all these mods worth $4000??(include fitting) EXEDY H/D clutch JUN Flywheel HKS 4-2-1 exhaust manifold Apexi lowering spring SARD racing centre pipe THZ :)
  19. o..im nt quite sure wat was it really called in eng... i think 4 dat thing da original 1 in our car is 4.1.. so ppl in HK usually change in2 a 4.5 or 4.7 one... + most ppl said it increase some pwr but sacrifice some top speed.. so 4.7 is really bad 4 st use? sorry coz i dunt know much abt cars..
