So Before I bought the tune I raised the the issue of climate difference (between US&Aus) with RR and they mentioned that I buy a techstream cable in order to record a few runs, so I can send across the pond to them So they can monitor how the ECU has adapted to the new map and make any necessary changes if need be maybe just me being ocd but all precautionary, plus I love that the dudes at RR are so pro Lexus Fâs

how did you go Vaku - sorry mate i just realised i didnt answer you that well - busy af at work this time of year! yes re the steps - that is precisely how it happens Personally speaking, i wouldn't suggest doing the tune UNTIL the mods are done - lets not forget that this is a self learning ECU that will adapt to changes in hardware to a certain degree - having said that i elected to fit the hardware first and then just cruised around for a day or two on minimal throttle until it was all uploaded, at which point i did some nice 4th gear pulls (all on a private road of course ;) i am wrapped with the results -

Fitted the RR racing USRS today (lower control arm bushes and mount brackets) - feels soooo good a very welcomed addition to their tune. firms up the steering and response in the front end appropriately to match the horsepower it is now putting down - highly recommend. -
too many experts that way - leave to the people who cracked the ecu & specialise in that field

think of it of recording the diagnostics of a dyno run, and then sending the data to RR for them to cross check

OBD port with a desktop is fine - laptop probably easier - yes quite simple but a little bit fiddly - just follow the instructions step by step -
Hi all thinking the answer to this is a custom fab job but wanting to know if anyone has done the above - I have an xforce cat back with the single outlet - wanted it to go into stacked quaddies like the pic on the orange RCF - any help or suggestion would be great before I go and create my own in the garage

haha im anti dyno power runs- its like findout out your IQ - all about the way it feels for me - so many variables that can affect the dyno output. for tuning, then yes im all for it - but all that hard work has been done in the US already.... a quick reverse calculation of of the drag race last week says that its roughly 410-420hp atw give or take which im happy with interesting to note that the first and second 1/8 mile times were precisely the same (to 3 decimal points!) at 8.109 - kooky? -

Thx gents. This one was my second run and my best 60foot of the day. Not forgetting full tank and spare and *BLEEP* in the boot. I didn't even look at my tyre pressures either I was spewing with 12.3, I want 11s in the next run - it's all about the hole shot launch in my opinion - seemed to go better when I manually shifted at 7k too for the record -

see attached - note this is the quickest time slip for the day, the 1.8sec 60 foot time netted me a 12.4 funnily enough?! i can post that when i go home if anyone wants to see it -

First run I did was 12.3 at 188kmh - 1.86 60 foot track temp was warm too - full tank of juice and a bunch of work *BLEEP* in the boot - ran a few 12.4s after that - the trap speed says it's good for high 11s -
