Hi I always wondered why our Lexus’s don’t have features found in other high-end makes like Mercedes and BMW, so I embarked on a project that I just recently completed. I designed and made an electronic control module that adds the following features: Auto Door Locking/Unlocking controlled either by Park or Ignition Switch Approach/Follow me home lighting. If it is sufficiently dark the headlights will turn on as you approach the car and remain on when you exit Each of these features can be disabled so if you want one and not the other you can do that. The headlight time delay can be adjusted from approximately 10-75 seconds. Price is $119 plus $10 postage Australia wide. I am also offering installation for those in the Melbourne area. If you bring your car to me, the installation cost will be $300. It will take a day to do. I can come to you if you live in the Melbourne Metro Area but I will have to add an additional cost depending on my travel time. Enjoy!
Hello everyone I would love some help here and would be so much appreciated. I, myself after a long time have finally purchased my Lexus and saved every cent for it to finally now be in disbelief of what it's like to own one now, when it comes to service. Everywhere I go to take it for a 75,000kms service are asking for $1,000 and above, no I tell a lie actually the cheapest was $950. I don't understand, is this normal or am I just being tripped because I am a female and they think that females are so dumb? I am incredibly sadned with how some of these mechanics have dealt with me and there prices. Can someone please refer me to a mechanic that deals with Lexus's and knows what they are doing and are honest?! Please, I will take it straight there! Please, anyone,?!!! I am in Sydney, Panania 2213 🙁Thanks so much
Hey guys, I just recently bought my first car a new beautiful Lexus IS200 feel's like i'm king of the road! But I've recently been having some issues with the Electronic's in the car the left-side mirror when it tries to open it makes a ratcheting sound that doesn't stop that never stops, it's like the survey in the mirror doesn't know it's open I've tried opening it manually but it still has the same problem but when the Car ignition s turned on and off again it seem's to ratchet again and won't stop, I've had to remove the fuse of the Radio Number 2 which control's the electrical mirrors from the Driver's side Fuse box unfortunately this fuse also controls the Main Radio,Clock radio and electrical window for the the rest of the car so i can no longer use them. If anyone's had this same problem it'd be of great help or any help
Hi all, I have a couple of issues with electrics in the dash and was wondering if this was common. 1. Fuel gauge has stopped working - orange light permanently on and no readout of dash display of cruising range left. Service centre reckons is moisture affecting the fule gauge sender. 2. On hot days the radio display does not work. The controls on the dash don't function but the ones on the steering wheel do. The radio still works though. Hope someone out there might have a similar issue? Would love to know on the off chance if it is feasible to upgrade the dash to cinlude sat nav from rx350 2007 sport to sport luxury...? Thanks! Denis
