  1. I am selling my coilovers I brought 1 month ago, only selling due to selling the car trying to get some more money back. They are Tein flex z, will provide receipt upon sale for warranty to new owner. $1000
  2. Hi everyone, I am the very happy owner of a Graphite 09 ISF, and am loving the car to bits! Only issue is the brutal suspension. I work in real estate and am in my car most of the day, and need to soften the ride. Dont get me wrong, i love sports cars, and am used to hard suspension, but "bouncing" all the down the road over speed humps and irregularities isn't on.. give me firm, sure, but it also has to be compliant. I always knew there was going to be an issue with the suspension, test drove '12 and MY10 cars, and they were much more compliant. Unfortunately the budget didn't allow for it. In the end I got the mint 09 with 65,000 km for around $48k, so it was an offer that I couldn't go past. I have a budget of around $1500 for some suspension work, and am looking for someone to do the work for me. As far as i can see there is two options for me to go down which are: OEM '12-'14 (or maybe even '10 onwards) ISF suspension Lexus of Chatswood have recommended this as a good option, though its expensive new. I would be looking for a low km second hand setup from a car which has upgraded. If anyone has some, holla at me. BC Coilovers These are most likely going to push the budget installed, but from what ive read, getting the right springs and spring rates on this system make it pretty top notch and a huge difference to what im dealing with currently. Is there any other suggestions? Any other path to travel? And most importantly, who do you suggest to do the work on the car? Is there any specialists to balance and fit everything properly? Im from Perth and am clueless over here.. Lexus of Chatswood are obviously great, and have been extremely helpful, but i have a feeling they will be extremely expensive comparatively. Many thanks, James
  3. Hi, I am a lucky owner now of a lexus es300, 2005 built. Wonderful car, could not go back to other brands after experiencing the quality and comfort. There is one single issue, that is the ground clearance. I it possible to do some kinda lift, increase the ground clearance, say to Subaru Outback style without the all wheel drive of course. We live out bush with some gravel roads. Cheers!
  4. Hi everyone, So I've just got myself into a '13 Isf for my daily drive. I haven't actually received the car as yet... that comes tomorrow. Have ordered the BaysonR lip, and next will be the Air/oil separator and USRS from RR racing. I drove a few cars before pulling the trigger and liked the way the '13 suspension behaved... oddly even compared to a 2012 one i drove one hour prior. I really want to keep how the car drives at the moment but with a slightly lowered stance. So there lies my question... Can this be achieved with the Swift springs on 2012+ Isf? Are there any other options I should be considering (wasn't sure if there was much more available for this model year IsF). Not too keen on going full coilovers because it'd only see a few track days per year (I've got a fun weekend car for more track days). Seems to be mixed reviews with the swift springs, some even reporting that handling was worse with them, but if I recall correctly, those reports were pre- 2012. Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi all, I bought these springs and bump stops for my 2009 ISF, with the intention of installing them with some Bilstein shocks. But the shocks i bought only fit the 2008-2010 springs, not 2011 onwards. I really should have thought it through haha!! These will be softer / more compliant for those users who have a 2011 onwards car, or who need to go back to stock after modifying. They are genuine OEM parts Anyway here are the part number details: Front springs - 48131-53460 Rear springs - 48231-53390 Bumpstops - 48341-30140 If you look up the details of cost for these parts, your eyes will water, selling the lot for $550. Cheers Sparky
  6. I've managed to get in contact with a guy regarding some Aluminum Subframe Braces. Basically these will replace your stock ones and strengthen the joints between the subframe and the chassis resulting in less flex. Apparently improves overall handling and balance in the rear during cornering. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f-2008-2014/774034-rear-subframe-suspension-brace.html http://www.clublexus.com/forums/build-threads/759281-redspencer-s-track-tuned-is350-w-os-giken-lsd-build-thread.html He won't make any until I manage to find at least 3 people interested. Price will probably be around $150 USD for the set and an extra $25 per billet to get them painted in blue (for anyone interested) Currently asking for better group buy prices and shipping to Australia. Also have a source for some Spoon Sports Rigid Collars for the Lexus IS250/350 ISF These are pretty much sleeves around your bolts and subframe connections into the chassis eliminating unwanted chassis movement and improves overall dynamics and handling of the car. Also eliminates road noise, corrects steering, less tire wear. http://www.speedhunters.com/2011/06/car_life_gt_gt_fitting_rigid_collars_to_the_gt_r/ This is a link to speedhunter's GT-R This is a link on how Rigid Collars pretty much work If you frequent the tracks this is definitely the mod for you If you just daily your car, this is also a mod for you If you daily your car and hoon on the occasional mountain pass, this is also a mod for you. Price is $600 AUD shipped for individual orders but I've contacted Gaijin Garage in WA and they're willing to set us up with a group buy if I have enough interests. PM me or post below if you're interested and I'll try start something up.

  8. I am selling my car so my car is going back to stock. For sale are my KW V3s The entire set was replaced under warranty by Kw last month so you are getting a whole new set. I am looking for offers over 1.5k Cheers
  9. Im after some stock 2011-2014 springs for my 2009 ISF, i have some aftermarket Bilstein shocks coming in and they would match very well with some later model springs which are a bit softer. It would be good timing obviously to get it all done at once. Thanks! James Call on - 0433 146 146 or reply / PM here
  10. Hi All, This is my first post, so please go easy on me. I am in the process of buying a ISF for a weekender, fun car. My first choice would be for, a 2010-2011, but I think the 2008-2009 would probably satisfy my needs without going to the greater expense. I can live without the LSD, but my question here for this forum is, is the suspension on the earlier IS-Fs as bad/hard as reported? Is the suspension economically fixable or should I just spend the extra and buy the later models?

  13. Hi, I have a 2008 IS250. It has done 68k kms. While parking in slow speed when i fully turn the steering wheel to right or left it seem that the steering stays and sticks there and does not automatically return to center. I have to do it by my self. Mind you it only happens at speed of around 5km/h. Is there a problem with ball joint ?
  14. I want to lower my is200's ride height and i dont know what's cheaper, coilovers or springs anyone have any ideas on what setup i should choose and what brands are good ? preferably under $800 for everything? thanks !!
