Im having trouble with a Toyota altezza engine 1GFE - GXE10. Automatic. The front right caliper ( single piston) needs to be changed, but the one I ordered has a value R3 on it but my one is an R1, of which the R3 won't fit as its too big. I've spoken to breakers and they have no idea. There, are also R2 and R6 versions ..has anyone an idea what this R value is because it's causing me major problems, I can't find an R1.. The main dealer will cost €320 but I don't know yet if it will be an R1. The altezza model is a TA-GxE 10. See attached photo Thanks Lee
I'm looking to spray my calipers on my IS350 F the same colour or something as close to the orange calipers on the the new F line of lexus. If anyone knows where i can get the paint or something similar please let me know as ive searched all corners of the internet with no success. It seems like its just that shade of orange is no where to be found. I might try the dealer tomorrow but not sure how much luck ill have. Pic for reference Thanks
Op please remove if I am in the wrong area. Requirements - wheel size 18" Wheels Supplied parts - 2x 4 pot caliper (left front, right front), 2x rotors as is (needs to be machined), 2x brake pads (as is). The whole conversion takes about 1 hour and its probably a good time to change the brake fluid (mine was black ). Pm for price i have 2 sets located in Sydney. PS sorry about the photos of the dirty gutter burned rims, due to be fixed and caliper pain in a few weeks
Hi folks, I am new to the forum. I have a 2007 is250 prestige and I have started noticing squealing noise when I brake. During last service, the dealership said that the pads were not genuine (I just found out after owning the car for 1.5 years). The noise really gets to me and I have decided to upgrade the brake for the car. I have read some posts about brake upgrade and I am sure that Brembo is pretty popular among the members but I have no doubt that it also costs $$$$ (full brembo kit). At the moment, I am considering the combination of: DBA T2 slotted rotors for front (code is DBA2726S
