Installing Market Radio

Anyone replace the factory radio system for a IS200 with a market radio?

Does the IS200 have a amp installed as standard (I didn't think so), but a tried getting a radio system installed but as soon as the installer saw the wiring he asked where the amp was installed....

to his defence he hasn't installed one for a lexus before, but we've looked in the usual places (boot, under seats, side panel of passenger seat). We're guessing it may be under the gear changer panel..but he didn't want to pull it all out to no avail...he wanted me to contact toyota/lexus, which I'm doing as well.

Any help appreciated

amp is to the left of the glove box

take out the glove box and you will be able to see it

if u have the factory amp, you will most likely need to replace that plus the rear speakers because those items will only work correctly with the stock head unit (at least in an is300, which i assume is the same for an is200)
