Rear Door Sensor

When I make a turn of 90 degrees or more, my rear left door sensor activates momentarily, with a warning on the dash and interior light comes on.

Door is definitely not ajar.

Has anyone had this problem, and aware of a fix?

Vehicle is just over 4 years old (IS250x).

Have a look at the rear left door door sensor. It's held in with one screw from memory. Take it off and see if the internals are damaged or not.

I had a sorta similar issue with you with the same door - except when opening the door it light wouldn't come on cos the rubber boot fuse the switched close.

Probably because I don't use that door that often.

Took your advice and tightened the screw over the rear door sensor, and it seems to be working.
