Hi, I have a gs450h with only 15000km on the clock even though the car is 6 years old. I bought the car about 4 months ago and love it.

This is my 7th Lexus.

I have noticed that I have a reasonably strong smell of acid fumes in the boot even though the 12v battery is near new and a sealed unit.

I have read elsewhere that these batteries have a vent that will emit fumes from time to time.

Has anyone else noticed a similar event?

Regards

Jeffro
