Hi, a friend have a 92 LS400, and it is very difficult to find out how to program a new key, bought from Toyota. It is an original one with remotebuttons for door-opening.

Anyone here done this before ? Where we live there is no Lexus dealer that can answer, and Toyota can not find it in their system :-(

Hope there are someone with the recipe here :-)))

Best regards !

Keys for the early UCF10 and UCF11 cars came with an individual transponder that has to be fitted into the locking ECU. You can't just program the key.

I currently only have the valet key and my immobiliser started not recognising it sending my alarm screaming. Any hints on how to fix this? I'm consulting with lexus to cut new keys and have them reprogrammed but we need to find the transponder unit so the new keys can be matched. Anyone know where the unit is?
