Trc Off

Hi im new to the lexus scene, just got an is200 99 model, beautifull car, but 1 problem, how does traction controll work? No lights on dash show to say if traction controll is on or off, any ideas on how this works? Any info greatley appreciated.

next to the heated seat buttons below the head unit there is a TRC button. push that. bottom left of the dash cluster a little TRC off light should come on.

I have tried but no light appears, maybe a blown fuse??? Il have to check

Can you skid it? Might just be a blown light. If not check if the switch is connected on the back of it. Pretty sure if a fuse was blown it wouldn't work.

Il try and check and let you know tommorow, thanks. Also now iv noticed accelerating through the gears its lost a tad power and not 100% smooth idle, something else now to look at. Iv heard that cleaning mass air flow censor may fix problem
