No gear indicator & No cruise control issue

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone might know but I have an IS250 I bought with a stuffed gearbox. It initially had no led light on the dash to indicate what gear it was in, I assumed it was due to the gearbox problem. I have since replaced the box and it drives beautifully, love it but I still dont have a gear indicator light on the dash and the lcd display does not show any gear, if I shift over to sport it wont manually shift with the stick or paddles. Additionally I dont have cruise control, wether that is a separate or combined issue I dont know

Otherwise I have cleared the fault codes I was having, reset the VSC memory ok. I havent been to Lexus to reset the transmission memory (My friends fancy scan tool cant read the trans ecu, I will go spend the money if I have to but hoping to find a fix myself if I can) It shifts thru the gears itself ok, so it's a minor issue really but would love to fix it (you know when that little niggly problem grates at you?) 

I have no fault codes, and have checked for continuity across the shifter switch in the console and on the gearbox mounted shift position switch ok, and currently at a loss as to what to try next unfortunately! Any advice is muchly appreciated 🙂 thanks kindly

Update: So the box is dead.. or at least I only have one forward gear. I was a bit suspicious that I didn't have sixth gear as the revs were a little high on the highway.. So I have been in contact with the wrecker and they are hopefully finding me another one.

I am wondering if the box knew it was faulty and it wasn't showing a light as a result.. I will report back after I install another gearbox...
