Thanks Ian - not 100% certain, but I suspect the yellowing may be caused by the moisture on the inside of the lens? What was it about the Vlands that annoyed you?

I had those aftermarket headlights on a Lexus IS250, they were not very good. Unfortunately I wrote the car off. My replacement has OEM headlights that are so much better. As for the yellowing lens, try half a lemon with bicarbonate of soda sprinkled liberally on it. Rum vigorously on the lens then rinse with water. Worked for me.
