Hello Im working on Importing a Altezza RS200 now and i have som questions

Ohh and i live in norway so pardon my english

First off:

I dont want the Speedo to stop at 180, is there a Replacement speedo that goes higher.

and im not taking about This speedo but this speedo..

And which verson of the RS200 comes with the nice one?

(Big one of the nice one )

Second:

I hear that the RS200, AS200 and the IS200 all have the same problem. The suck at Low RPMs, Is this true? and if so what (other han turbos) can be done?

and any good Chips out there for the RS200?

Third:

ive seen some ALtezzas with TV/DVD inn the Dash insted of the Sound system, is this original? if so .. which models have it? is it available as something you can install later? and what sone is it?

And the NAvi on top, is it posible to vire it up to a DVD player so it can show movies?

and is it posible to translate the Navi program from Japanes to english?

And Last some misc things:

Is the RS200 mer Fuel efficient than the AS200/IS200 ?

The Z-ed is the one without Leather .. right?

Interior Color .. only black?

Thats all for now .. thanks..

Well, Greeneyes is a '99 Z edition, and has the speedo in the middle and the rev counter at the left. It will pull past the 180kph in 4th, 5th and 6th with ease, but there is a cut-out at about 185kph.

At low revs, under 4500, they are just another 2litre with a 4cyl engine and 1350kg to move. From 4500 on they really light up!! The six cyls are more torquey low down and a lot smoother, but just not as quick. To get more than 100bhp/litre means a racing car engine, and they don't have much low end!

I don't have the DVD options, but Gav here in the club is the man for that.

The 3SGE runs around 9L/100km on the open road, beiing well-driven at 120kph and up to 7000rpm.

Mine has the black nylon seats, the same as nearly every Altezza Ive ever seen. You would have to order a special option of leather to get it in an Altezza. Leather is pretty much standard in the Lexus however.

and I think the interior is nearly always black.

good luck with your car!
