As far as I'm aware, for my 2013 model, the 2 enhancement packs I have gave me, a moon roof, auto Hi-beam, lane departure warning, pre-collision safety system, and active cruise control. Standard for the F-Sport was Mark Levinson audio system, Parking Sensors (F+R), Blind Spot Monitor, Rain Sensing Wipers, Auto Fold Mirrors, Smart Card Key, LED Headlamps, Electrochromatic Rear Vision Mirror, and Driver Seat Memory, as well as every other thing a person could wish for. To say I love my Lexus is an understatement. It only had 21,000 Kms when I bought it 5 years ago and it still only has 44,000 kms. I have never put any after-market add-ons on the car. I like it just the way it is.

I haven't encountered this but first thing I'd do is put a battery charger on it and make sure it's fully charged. I have had issues with my Lexus completely draining the battery after only a few weeks of no use. When connecting a charger start with connecting the negative lead to some metal on the engine (I use something adjacent to the spark plugs), then connect the positive lead to the positive terminal on the battery.
Good luck.

Hi AndyS, Just in case you don't get the specific advice you require I'll at least pass on my experience with my own vehicle which is a little different. I have a 2013 IS350 F-Sport with both available extra option kits so it pretty well has everything. I find that the attention to detail and workmanship is absolutely brilliant. I once owned a Porsche 928 and I would say that the Lexus is every bit as well finished as that was. My Lexus is absolutely brilliant on the highway, mind you it's pretty brilliant everywhere. I've no problem whatsoever with reliability but I have to say that it's only done about 38,000 kms. The adaptive cruise control is a nice feature. All in all I can't recommend the Lexus highly enough. I have a friend who has an IS250, somewhat older model, and they absolutely rave about it so I think you're onto a good choice. Good luck with it all. Regards, Geoff

Hi Neurus,
Thank you very much for the comprehensive report on your project. I had been searching for a solution for my 2013 IS350 F-Sport. It only has 46,000kms on it so I'd like to keep it for many more years and the only issue I had was the ridiculous cost for an update of maps for the OEM system. The link you have provided is extremely promising.
