    yea.. I got a box of lex chocs for my 80K service. but they didnt even washed the car !!! was pissed as !! Paid my $800+ as it was worth since its a major service. This was at Sutherland.

    Now I gotta point out, forking out $800 was steep, but reasonble since its lexus. Least they could do was give it back decent or even take it to a car wash for $20 bucks !! or ven put the dam wash on the invoice !!!Their excuse...?? water restriction.

    thats just pathetic ...

    so.. I gave my work mates the chocs.. saying...

    (there was only 4 pieces) hahhaha

    still taste crap. cadbury is better.

    that was my service history.

    Wish they gave me the RX though.. I would get lost on purpose !! hahaha :)

    hahah IT WAS ME !!! dam it !!

    yep.. unlucky as it was. I was doomed for the weekend. :(

    bloody cold at livo... geezz

    long story short..

    1. I called Lexus and the only thing is to wait til monday so their technician can check it out.

    2. So i called my mechanic.. he called his locksmith and out he came...

    did his thing with the barrel and did manage to "click" the key over which was a relief...

    BAD NEWS... the "other" key that was used must have been turned pretty hard cause it damaged some of the pins - hence as to why my key would not turn and the security system kicked in...

    I can start the car, but I get a "clicking" on the key when i turn - so I would need to replace the barrel sometime during the week...

    I wont name the "person", but if u can PM me and hopefully we can work something out to get this fixed. cheers.

    Other than freezing cold - it was a dam good KK meet.

    Awesome meetoing up with you GWIN... keep them gadgets rolling... send edwin a run for his money !! hhahhaha

    Finally - I just want to say THANKS to all the guys that waited with me in the freakin cold til the towie came. Top mates !!

    yep.. thats always an issue...

    This is a start...

    maybe if everytime we have a car cruise.. everyone can donate $5.00 or $10.00 or whatever... to cover any cost in promoting ...

    for starters.. i'd get club stickers, banners, cards, etc...

    but you have to know what you want to promote...

    the bottom line is...

    what does a member get out of joing the "club"... besides this forum.

    a lexus dealer sponsorship would be awesome !! heheh wishful thinking.

    Ok.. I have noticed a jump in new members lately - so thats a good thing.

    yea..

    im not a fan of hots fours as I used to be.. too commercialised and not enough info.

    though i had puchased a few editions of speed and think that its an awesome magazine. I like the reviews on other toys / gadgets as well.. like electronices and fashion.. u know.. just to break up the auto...

    yea... im sure every one is down with this idea !!! I think we should forward all emails to matt's inox !! hhahaha :D

    he can take care of these things !!

    it comes in the 03+ models and after driving a courtesy one from lexus, I just love resting my arm on them things!!

    problem...?? its $1300 for the whole middle console + leather trim ....

    Im a little fortunate that I have some friends who are dam good with electronics !! and with a little patience and care, I think can work around this ...

    Figured I wanna do something different other than perfromance ... (cause my car's TOO LOW to go fast !! hehe ) and who knows... maybe I can get the system to do other things beside just telling me the best route ! :)

    just wondering if anyone has the navigation system they dont want (or need) or know of where I can get one for the IS200... even if its in japanese.

    Im curious to do some experimental work with it... and no... Im not gonna destroy it!! If anything - it might be an improvement !! :)

    anyway ... just browsing on ebay and came across the RARE as prancing lion emblem -

    I was emailed these images a while back and Im pretty dam sure they are real cause I do computer graphics for a living and see this everyday...

    With technology these days in graphics, you could probably pass with forging this look, you know how hard it is perfectting light, shadow and reflections all together seamlessly...

    anyway, nevertheless - they look UNREAL :)

    If you havent seen these, basically get ready to really DROOL and say WOW !!

    Im not too sure if Merc did these to showcase their cars as a stunt, cause if anyone can afford to do this, its definelty them !!

    a showoff of these beautiful machines... what can I say - the reflection says it all.

    these are now proudly parked in my garage next to my lexus.. hehehe :)

    wattaya talkin bout !!! been all trying to meet up for AGES !!

    ok.. I know someone has mentioned like a cruise or meetup on some long weekend thats coming up... so lets all get a short list of who's really keen and whatsa good central meeting up place and where you all wanna cruise...

    personally I think the wollongong is too far and most of the time you on the freaking freeway !!! :)

    sunday is a good lazy azz day through the city, round bondi, up manly, wherever there is traffic moving!! :D

    IMAGINE.... 10+ IS200s bumper to bumper

    oh and welcome MATT !!!

    Who's ever organising - Im down for that cruise !! :)
