-
hehehe
i remember seeing those wedding photos posted on IS300.NET a couple years ago........
apparently the founder of the HK lexusownersclub, Choi, was the one getting married, back in 2002...
-
hahaha.....
the air filter is luckily the EASIEST engine mod........EVER!
For the 1G-FE engine
the Air Filter is held in the "L" Strip on the Air Box atop the engine
("BEAMS 2000" strip for Altezza AS200 pplz).....which you can clearly see.......
if u look at the front and rear of the strip, u will see some clips holding it down......unclip them.......
then you can pull the "L" strip straight out........the air filter is held within......
and as greeneyes puts it......
take out the old one and put the new one in its place!! :D
-
Wow,
That was fast!
-
its the stiff mat that divides the upper/lower compartments of the boot
Are these any different from the oem lexus ones??
Yes, JDM ones have special Sushi compartments :D
-
JDM Sun Visors!

Do you know how many people would kill for your kit man?

all the americans are all still waiting aroujnd for that carson s#!t

I don't understand why the trac off and heater buttons need to be re-located for a slab of plastic???? Shouldnt it just cover the radio void?

All Lexus of Parramatta leave you is a box of tissues... ;)

Since the Au/Nz forums opened up more than a year ago....there has not been a single thread in the LX470 forum......so i got dibz as the first ever poster!
As the first ever thread in the LX470 forum,
let me just say, that I don't own one, nor will i ever probably,
and I don't think any people on this forum do...
(I don't think people with LX470s are really forum kinda people)
But, I did ride in one 4 years ago, when my dad had one for a day as a courtesy car, and let me just say......
"What a freaking Beast of a Machine - the Hercules of all Lexus'!"
-
Ok cool,
thanks guys :)
-
You see that S#!t?
He's got enough NOS in there to blow himself up. Period.
-
Thanks Edwin,
So the taller ones go out the back correct?
and also, what's the purpose of the plastic around the shorter ones?
-
Hey guys,
The Eibach Prokit springs come with a pair of springs longer and a pair of shorter ones...
my question is: Which go where?
Do the longer springs go to the front or the rear?
thanks
-
pretty cheap...
think it probably is a replica eh?

Isn't it Ironic how these Super-fast Altezzas only have a 180kph speedo, whereas the Super-slow Lexus IS200s have 220kph speedos?
-
Its just common sense, nothing lasts for ever, but how long it lasts is up to you :)
HaHa,
it's funny 'cause Matt, didn't you have the impression before that the trust filter would "last longer than the car itself"??
Guess it was a bit over optimistic eh? Oh well, i just hope the aftermarket will continue making these wierd "L" shaped filters for the IS200 for a very long time, or one day, i will eventually have to go back to factory filters.....
-
You will be able to tell a difference if you know your car! I heard some negatives about Trust so I no longer recommened and sell them...Tom's last longer and it is better in quality! And yes Heatshield does make a difference at low end!
Matt =)
Whaa??
What Negatives did you hear about the Trust??
is it anything serious??
if so, time for me to chuck it in the trash and get a new one.....??

That pic was taken at an IS200 Cruise in Melbourne organised by TRD328 a couple years ago...
