That pipe should go to the power steering pump idle up valve, these valves tend to leak so get removed and the pipes going to it plugged so I would find a suitable bolt and sealant and do the same.

I'm based in the UK and own 2 1994 Celsiors ( did have a 1997 one as well until recently)

Sorry can't help with parts in Australia.

If I remember correctly there is no seal as such, the windscreen is bonded to the frame so after removal it needs to be professionally refitted.

Sounds pump related, you can get a full rebuild kit from Lexus/Toyota for around $50.00.add another $30.00 if you also want to replace the bearing but this is normally OK.

You should be able to get hold of the factory manual on CD ROM for a few $$ from that well known internet auction site, this should have the factory proceedures for alignment and testing.

Check the plugs they should be NGK Iridiums ( good for 100K) other plugs have been known to cause running problems.

Favourite is the ignition coil mounted down the passenger side of the engine opposite the battery tray, also check the routing of the wire from the coil to the distributor cap as if not fitted correctly it can be damaged by the covers.

If you are planning on replacing all the ignition components it should sort the problem.

Another indication of a failed coil is the cats will glow red after a short drive, don't leave things too long as they will suffer damage.

There was a fantastic Toyota/Lexus database online that included all part numbers and exploded diagrams including the Celsior and Soarer which had to be removed after Toyota threatened legal action.

You don't mention your model year but if your car is pre October 1994 you can pull the transmission codes yourself, see link below.

If it is post October 1994 you need an OBDII code reader.

Yes the seats are plug and play, I don't know if the velour seats you have in at the moment are heated and even some of the leather ones aren't ( mine aren't) but the rest of the plugs and sockets should match straight up.

I would disconnect the battery before disconnecting the plugs under the seat as there are airbag detectors in there.

The seat mountings will be the same but leave the battery connected until you have removed the seat mounting bolts as you will have to move the seat forwards and backwads to get to them all.

You 1st need to read the fault codes for the ABS which will point you in the right direction, a failed wheel sensor is the most likely problem but checking the codes will confirm.

Follow the instructions to the letter.

I think I still have the one off a Toyota Celsior I am breaking for parts, I am out of UK for a couple of weeks so you may find one more locally but if not send me a PM and I will gladly post it to you if you pay the postage cost, the hose you can have for free.

On the 1993 model there are sensors on each wheel and in the UK they cost over £45.00 each so as advised above remove the sensor head ( the black plastic bit that clips into the pad) and then join the 2 wires together and tape up out of the way.

This will remove the warning light but of course you will have to check the pad wear regularly as he warning system will no longer work.

Also the pre October 1994 model uses OBDI diagnostics so no code reader is needed for the codes, the link below shows how to get the codes for all systems using a paper clip!

You have managed to buy the LHD version, rewiring is very complicated if at all possible,I am surprised it works at all.

This guy used to supply both versions so maybe worth contacting to see if he has a 1994 RHD version.

The sensor panel does not come off from the front, an easy way to clean it is to buy a can of compressed air and blast it through the slits in the cover.

Go to www.soarercentral.com and then have a look at the Celsior forum, there are usually some cars being broken and they are local, well same country anyway but perhaps still a few 1000 Kms away!

There should be a manufaturer's plate on the inner wing drivers side which should show the information you need for a Toyota dealer to find the date.

If your Celsior has a mechanical mileometer it will be a 90-92 model if is is digital it will be a 93-94 model.

I've been getting error 19 (Pump cycling too often), which indicates a low nitrogen charge in the accumulator,

It's got to the point where the ECU is limiting the cars power because of this as a safety feature

I'm wondering if anybody else has had this, and is there places that you can bring to get this re gassed, does it

have a valve on it for re gassing? Most brake places don't know about it and have no clue.

I'm in Perth.

As far as I can tell from the exploded diagram it is called a Pressure Regulator Assembly costing around $700.00 US so a good used one would be the cheaper option.

I would have the battery and alternator checked out,there have been reported cases where the battery alone has been the cause of your problem.

Have you checked the idle speed,it should be around 650RPM when the engine has warmed up.

A common cause of stalling is a dirty throttle body or IACV.
