  1. Hi there,

I am new to this forum and i have a quick question would like to ask...

There are moisture (water) in my headlight after a HID installed on my is250, is there anyway i can clear the moisture out?

    Thanks guys...

You can remove the head light and try to blow dry it.....but removing it aint so easy. If the car is still under warrenty take it back ot the dealer, obiously it has a seal leaking and water is finding its way in there.

  2. Heard of a few problems with people purchasing aftermarket pads for the RX models. They complain of more brake squeal, worse feeling peddal etc. The reason the orginal pads run out so quick is because the pads use are a soft compound pad and usually only last about 20,000kms. Lexus have recently brought out a new brake pad for the RX models which is a lot better, lasts longer and dosent leave as much brake dust on your rims. Ring your dealership and ask for the upgraded brake pad set for your vehice.

  3. Just bought a 04 (05 update) RX330 Sports Luxury.

I've been reading about Lexus Personal Setting (LPS) and wish to make a few changes regarding auto lights on delay, etc.

Is there any way of programming these options without going to the dealer?? ie; via the nav screen??

    also,

is there any way of enabling dvd vai the nav screen by way of the existing cd, nav dvd or external inputs??

    thanks in advance.

If you are talking about the Service screen on the touch screen, dont mess around with it, its for technicians to diagnose problems with your units...nothing else!

As for your LPS, only way i know of is via doing it at the dealership.

  4. Capey, 98km/hr and clock showing 110km/hr is quite a difference man.

I too like the fact that there is room so you don't cat caught speeding. The bad thing is you'll be piling up more Kms than you actually are as someone mentioned.

I'm wondering if by putting on 19s, the speedo might be a little closer to the real mark.

changing your wheel size will alter your speedo readings.

  5. Main rattle for the IS250 is the Dash, which is about a day fix job. Seat belt rattle? try turning the buckle around the right way. Never heard of the rear window rattle, so i suggest all of you that are "fearing" the rear window rattle, relax. As for the moon roof, im guessing its doing it when its open...wind will cause stuff to move around.
