The IS300 is a 6 cylinder in-line engine - 2JZ-GE - the non-turbo version of the awesome 2JZ-GTE from the Supras.
I have fitted the 1JZ-GTE engine into an IS200. This is the 2.5litre version of the Supra motor.
Makes for a very fast IS200 car but was a little expensive to do the conversion. For instance the gearbox also has to be replaced as the engine has too much power for the standard box.

CCT3 - fits straight in without any mods.
Hope it all goes well.

I thought about the V8 first because my son has a Soarer V8.
Nice motor. WOuld be even better as a manual.
But then I saw the VVTi for sale - what more could you ask for.
Still would like to do a V8 version one day - perhaps in a GS300.

Welcome.
If you want to mod the engine then check out Toymods Forum. Usually almost anything can be found on there.
I went the easy way with my IS200 - fitted a 1JZGTE VVTi with Getrag 6 speed.
All comes down to how much you want to spend?

But which pin-out are you looking for. There are about 140 wires. I need to know which ones you are specifically looking for.

I have the complete IS200 wiring diagrams (all 600 pages of it).
Let me know what signals you are looking for and I can find them for you.
Alternatively I have a spreadsheet of the connections onto the engine computer that I used to wire my 1JZ unit into the car. It has almost all of the signals on it.

How's the conversion going?
I have a similar one underway and almost finished.
The 1JZ bolts straight in with only a few problems. I changed the gearbox to a Getrag V160 6 speed at the same time. Had to shorten the gearchange to suit the location.

Not an easy thing to do as the Lexus has amplifiers as well. Most after market kits use a remote speaker for the phone. The mute function works well - just a little difficult to use the speakers.
