Hi All, recently imported my LEXUS HARRIER RX300 V6 Signature class and very interested to hear from other owners recommending service repairers in Sydney. I'm about to convert the display unit with DVD, Digital TV (from NTSC to PAL), Rear Camera and GPS Nav system through Nams Electronics in Marrickville (highly recommended for this model). Please advise asap, thanks John

hey mate, RX300 harrier V6 signature class is a fantastic model, ensure you look for one with low milage. I bought one in NZ in 2006 and imported it over to sydney. great car!

I am new to this forum so an apology if this has been touched on elsewhere. I am the owner of a Toyota Harrier (240G Premium – purchased Dec 2006) which has the Harrier HDD Navigation System built in.

I understand that upon a move to Australia it is unlikely the TV will work (NTSC v PAL) but I was assured by a number of parties that to get the navigation to work back home would probably be just a case of swapping the disks, and/ or some simple software. I saw some old comments on this site from 2004 suggesting it could not be done back then.

Can anyone confirm if the HDD Navigation systems are convertible back in Australia and if so how and where can I do this? I assumed Toyota/ Lexus are the only ones that can touch it?

hey mate, you should contact Nams Electronics on 02 95504144. Nam has converted RX300 import japanese models with DVD, Rear Vision camera, Digital TV, FM expander, GPS Nav system - good luck
