  1. Thanks Moni, this car would be my daily drive car to work, im quite impressed with the driving dynamics knowing it is a hybrid car! i was having fun test driving it at the dealer, it looks good too!

You will be so happy with this car, I have the same one and have now done 600kms, it is a great car. I love it. I know you will too - I had 2 gs300's before this one. I really like sports mode. I live in the country so we are really having fun in sports. 

    Enjoy your new car

    Moni

  2. Yes opening and closing window by holding on the fob for few seconds. i dont think us market has them

if im not mistaken US get the auto locking but aussie gets the auto window roll down and up remotely.. but aussie 08+ model gets the auto locking as well..
If im not mistaken only Lexus IS250 08+ has Auto lock capability, but again i might be wrong :)

The US forums hits I found had various posters saying they've been able to do it on '06 and '08 models. It doesn't make sense that they'd remove it for the year in between...

Yeh, I do have the auto lock feature with mine, but what do mean by the auto window roll down and up thing. Are you talking about when U keep the lock / unlock button on the fob pressed for 2-3 secs, or is there a fully automatic feature??

  4. I recommend you to use the Oem Ipod Adapter :) i know it is more but you can use the steering wheel to control the ipod and also it keep the ipod on charge :)

I'm a little perturbed that there's very little clearance to allow a car adapter in the auxillary socket under the console lid while it's closed. I pretty much leave my iPod permanently plugged into the auxillary audio port but have to plug into the socket in the ashtray to charge it when driving, or leave the console lid open and tipped back.

Has anyone found a nice, flat L-shaped car charger adapter for anything? I'm happy to purchase one for another purpose and modify it to suit my needs...

  5. That wheel looks like HSV wheel :)

well $2100 included shipping coz i got the from local site :)

The rear wheel just tucked in nicely.. u can always play around with offsets to get wider rim and tyre.

Im getting some one to fit them for me :) i recommend Top One in Arncliffe ! the owner name is Dedi and hes awsome with Tein stuff :)

I just placed an order for Tein Comfort Sport (apparently the IS250 EDFC motor is the same as S2000 so i will be using my old EDFC from S2000) and i got mine for $2100 i think its pretty cheap some other place claim $2500 and fulcrum (official AU Tein reseller) for $3200...

the sad news is that i have to wait for 4 weeks to get them from japan :( cant wait that long..

    The rims offsets F 19x35x235 8.5 +42 F 19x30x265 9.5 +43

With my offset u will only get deep dish on rear, the front pretty much no dish but planning to get endless caliper kit sometime in the future (it wont fit if i chose the dish)

i will take some pic of the rear soon :)

ive seen few IS250 but they all pretty much stock, and i believe its due to ppl are scared doing any mods might dishonored the factory warranty.

    These are the babies, yeh......

    Tein CS raceinspired.com

What prices have you found in Au?

With the 265's @ the rear, what off-set did you go with? Do you reakon you could post a rear view pic of the car?

From what I have researched thus far, that is a damn good price! How much U paying for shipping?

Are you going to fit em or have you got some one??

Again, anytime anyone mentions the warranty factor, yeah im one of those that falls into it. The only reason why is that I've got the 08' build and yes, still 4 years to go! Not that its going to stop me regarding the drop though! As we all probably would agree, its a must especially when you go with the non oem looking wheels!! (ie. any ones that have a dish and not full faced)!!

See, Im curious to see how your rears fill the guards. Thats the reason im still tossing up between the dished WORK VR T1S's and the full faced Enkei FS-01's

Oh yes, the question is out to all of ya'll yet again. Anyone have either of these wheels on their cars???

  6. Sewell lexus selling them around $1300 USD included shipping. my best suggestions is safe a bit more and get the Coil overs (Tein Comfort Sport only $2100-2400AUD) if you look around :) i would suggest start with SRS AUTO in sydney :)

BTW i see QQQ IS250 almost everyday and his car is HOT :)

im going to be using F sport springs and shocks to lower my car
  7. Hi Guys,

Just found a really good deal on GFX (OEM LEXUS BODY KIT FOR IS250) please go to:

    http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=371739

The price? only $199 USD for the whole kit painted!!! normal price $1000+ USD...

but its only availiable on sale this 20 August 2008 from Sewell Lexus in Dallas.

PS: please note that the shipping is quite pricey due to the fact they send with Fedex (full body kit around $1000USD) but this is better than going thru a normal USPS mail because with fedex we dont need to worry about custom fee's and charges :)

anyway good luck to who ever buying :) total cost should be around $1500 AUD shipping included :) all u need is install it, since its factory painted :)

  8. Hi Guys,

Just been reading in club lexus and sewell has confirmed that the new smart card access key card for LS460 is actually compatible with 2006-2008 IS250/350, 2006-2008 GS300/350/430/450h and the 2007-2008 ES350.

for more details and special pricing go to: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=322504

IS250 key fob is so big and heavy in the pocket, with this new RFID smart card (apparently the thickness of 3 credit cards) we can just put it in our wallet :)

im not sure if Lexus in australia willing to reprogram the access card to our vehicle but it has been confirmed by sewell that the programming steps are the same as to reprogram another key fob into our car..

anyone interested ? coz i am :) sick of the thick and heavy key fob :gav:
