I was talking to Tony (Lexus Valley). According to him, a customer wanted Red (unseen).. When it rocked up to the dealership they all loved it and order 1 for each showroom. I was looking at getting a red one, they are a special order and take 3 months to deliver..

If your engine etc is standard, I wouldn't have thought running Caltex pulp would have made that much of a difference. You will notice a small difference, but what you are decribing is pretty major.
I always run my standard '99 model on Optimax, with the exception of 1 time and the difference was noticable, but I wouldn't have said it made it run bad..

I have heard Honda's are pretty good, a lot of my friends drive Honda's.. Everything from HRV's to s2000's and most report good experiences.. My car prior to the IS200 was a '62 Chev Belair and that rocked!! Am keeping my eyes open for a '63 Impala to start as a project :D

6220 here.. It does the job, but no bluetooth :(

No mods yet..
I bought a '99 IS200 with sports/lux pack & sunroof.. It's Red Mica with Ivory interior.
I no going to change it in to many ways, maybe some simple minor power upgrades and a minor kit (I think it's the elegance kit??).
How do you find the springs? Do they make a much of a difference in the ride?

Keying cars just isn't cool... Sorry to hear about that, Lisa..
Have you ever seen the director's cut of Pulp Fiction?? It has a rather long speech around the keying of cars... It's so true..

With out looking at my car... From memory there is an adjustment for the highlight height and there is a rear foglight switch.. I think.. I'll have to check my car.. I think that is where you are talking about..
-
I've also seen them on an X5 at the Gold Coast and a Hyundai in Brisbane... I think they look terrible.. But that is just my opinion.. So you won't catch me with them..

I'm pretty sure they are real... I have seen those images before, only I can't remember where I got them from.. And it's not like car company's haven't done this before... I remember Audi in particular.

Hey All,
I think I'm new on these forums. Bought an ISF in Feb '10 (almost a year ago). I've done 1 track day at QR in the car, it's a lot of fun.
