  2. Hey guys,

Just seeing if there's any interest on the forums in a Dec 2009 (MY10) IS250 Prestige. Looking to upgrade in the next few months but gotta find a new home for my car before doing so. Haven't posted on any classifieds as yet . Beyond the standard IS250 Prestige features:

    • Fsport Exhaust (installed by Lexus of Chatswood) - done around 50k's
    • Fsport Intake (installed by Lexus of Chatswood) - done around 50k's
    • Fsport Gearknob (makes the car faster by 0.001 secs due to lighter weight and faster shifting - btw its an auto)
    • Moon roof
    • 69k's on the clock
    • Full service log with Lexus of Chatswood
    • Rego until May 2015
    • 75k service done today (27/10)
    • Rear brake pads changed in May 2014
    • All four tyres changed in Nov 2013
    • 6000k HID headlights (courtesy of cevu a couple of years, thanks bro)

Apart from the Fsport mods and HIDs, car is stock. Only other minor things modded were the parker and interior lights to LEDs.

Asking for $31k but negotiable of course.

Not really looking to part out and prefer to sell the car complete as is.

Happy to answer any other questions if anyone is interested!

    Thanks

    Dennis

  3. I think it should be the same as the boot lip but best to check with someone on this forum who has the roof spoiler.

As for the bootlip I recommend that you get at least one other person to help you out just so you make sure you get it centered properly. I got a friend to help out and it just made it a little easier. Just a tip, make sure you get the sides on the boot lip pressed down at the same time ( hence 2 people easier than just doing it on your own. )

  4. I've installed my boot lip just with the 3m tape and it holds fine. I know a few people on this forum have done the same. If you check out the US forum most of them do the same too. I know some like to drill holes into the boot and screw it down but personally wouldn't consider doing this. As for using sealant, I would reckon that its not the best adhesive to use in this case cos it's rubbery and 'springy'. For a boot lip and roof spoiler you would probably want a more rigid adhesive.

Coconut has both boot lip and roof spoiler. He might be able to tell. You more about installing the roof spoiler.

  5. Great meet and getting to see some new faces. Hopefully we can hit the 20 mark this year. Gotta try and get pics taken earlier before people start to leave. Can't wait for the next one and hopefully we can organize a short cruise. Looking forward to the pics!
