I’m sure this isn’t a new problem. Thursday I noticed my air con quite cold despite setting to 25C. Hubby later checked fuses and found no fuse problems. Upon turning on ignition the VSC light on instrument panel and AFS OFF    Were flashing. Of course seat memory gone and windows needed re setting. Did this and restarted engine a few times. Lights still on dash. Disconnected battery for a few hours as usually that tweaks issues. Then I realised if car turned off couldn’t lock doors using button on my door panel and upon leaving car central locking wouldn’t work. No response from my key fob. 

So is there a fix ????  

We had this issue with our 2006 rd 350. Always garaged.  Dash goes oily looking over the airbag. Around the time we noticed my husband had seen many Toyota’s in a repair shop getting dash replaced so we contacted Lexus. We were told we could get a new dash but would have to pay labour costs. Haven’t done it yet. Hubby is going to install himself. 

Was wondering where ti get protectors not the contact sort proper ones like we had on our prado which are in front of lights and made of thick Perspex ?

think it's to stop lights moving from side to side round corners and just stay fixed

AC very cold. I often turn auto off and select low fan on climate panel.

Also I have iphone4 Nd can't transfer contacts

We've had ours since October and the lowest km on trip guide says 12.6 l / 100km. Each time I fill up it takes 63 liters and cruising range says 508 km we bought ours in brisbane and and drove back to Sydney and got good km then I think 8.5 l/100km. But normal driving round is sometimes up to 14.6

I've just joined bought mine in October ..2006 modeland we paid $49000 only had 21000 km and guy never drive it so we think we got good deal hav had prados since '97 and I didn't really want to part with it but liked the Lexus being bit smaller plus I've never had auto

the prev owner did not put anything on dash ??
