  1. Hi,

in the FAQ for the NAV/Video

Is a switch required to work with your product?

Our system is designed to be there only when it’s needed. Our system can be activated and deactivated by simply pressing a button on our switch. The wired remote switch dimension is (L) 1½” x (W) ¾” x (H) ½”. For 2010+ Lexus models and selected 2012+ Toyota models* with Entune system, a switch is no longer required! The activation/deactivation of our system is now integrated with the factory buttons on the steering wheel!

have you been able to activate/deactivate from the steering wheel controls?being a 2010+ car

    Thanks

No, I am not aware of any steering switch in our car that can activate the unit, and it was not mentioned in the original installation manual (included with purchase). It is possible a feature Prestigious Society added in newer version of their product. For this unit I am selling, I would say it won't work other than with the switch, but you can always ask Prestigious Society for confirmation, the unit was purchase directly from Prestigious Society in 2011.

  2. Added more info/links for Nav/DVD module as many of you are asking in PM, should make it easier for you guys. If you are thinking of getting it for other model like IS F, please make sure you do your own research before buying, manufacturer stated it is compatible but I obviously have not tested it.

    - Made in Japan

  5. Once you had selected the Fujitsubo Legalis R, where did you buy it? Supplier from Japan or the USA?

    I bought it from US.

The Japanese version is call Legalis Elegant (sound really gay), and I am not sure if it will fit straight into our car, it is possible the Japanese IS have shorter/smaller CAT, but I didn't really research much into details, I just went with the US spec to save time and money.

  6. if i dont mind you asking

how much did you pay for it

and where did you get it from??

Haha, I thought you would asked, I will PM you the details. They are much more than the F-Sport bars being CUSCO...my recommendation is to buy the rear only since this is one of the only 2 choices we have (other one is JUN-TW if you can find one), either leave the front sway stock or buy F-Sport/others.

  7. I have been looking at upgrading the exhaust since the day I picked up my car, I want a bit more exhaust bass but no cabin drone, and I also didn't like the stock exhaust design with their flatten joints between the Cat and mufflers. It took me six months to finally found what I am looking for, the Fujitsubo Legalis R.

If you look around any Lexus's forum on exhaust upgrade choices, you will find F-Sport, Tanabe, Greddy and HKS dominated as the go to brand. For the riches and true enthusiast, they might also go TOM's. These exhausts have excellent build quality, very similar performance gain on paper and sounds great! But none of them really excite me enough wanting to buy one.

I love the sound of the F-Sport but for me it was too loud for a Lexus, if I had a V8 muscle car, that would be a no brainer, but for me it doesn't sound right on a prestigious sport sedan (Except for ISF, I would have picked the F-Sport). Another problem is price, both F-Sport and TOM's have a very expensive price tag for a axle-back mufflers system.

Other choices are lot more price justifiable, but some of them are even louder than the F-Sport with very bad drone which left me with limited choices until I read up on Fujitsubo. I found it strange that Fujitsubo is not very well popular amongst the Lexus scenes, not only Fujitsubo is one of the highest regards and largest exhaust manufacturer in Japan, they also make some of the best exhaust for high performance JDM sport cars. I always liked Fujitsubo, I have used their exhaust on my Civic EG VTi, MR2 and Integra DC2R, build quality is as good as you can get with full Japanese stainless steel, but some can be very loud like their racing series RM01A.

Fortunately, Legalis R is one of the street legal series, it is very quiet with no droning inside, nice bass sound from the outside yet not loud enough to catch any attention. So when I saw some of the US stores running special on them, I immediately imported one over and I am very happy with it.

I hope this post will help others who also after quieter exhaust, and give you another great options.

  8. Bought and installed CUSCO rear sway bar, they matched the F-Sport front beautifully. Same 19mm as the F-Sport rear bar but with the pocket that go around our bigger spare wheel bay.

If you want rear sway bar for your Australian spec ISx50, this is the bar to get. The difference compare to stock bar are very noticeable, steering is more responsive, car push harder in corner with confident and most body roll are gone.

    Highly recommended.

  9. Can see where you are coming from, but it is all normal really, is all part of the open Internet forum.

People come here searching for answers, members have a choice to help or ignore. Lot of these people just read and not have so much to share, but that doesn't make them bad.

I do agreed asking invoices and any sort of personal related information are bad, and should be ignore. Unless you know the guy, but then I wouldn't ask in the open anyway, that's what PM is for.

  10. mrbbqwer

can you share that review at all on the forum?

    sounds real interesting.

It was in the MOTOR mags, last month issue or the month before I think, mrbbqwer can confirm, you probably can still buy it from the news agent.

    What was the verdict mrbbqwer?

Can you scan and upload the conclusions?

From memory, BMW 335i M sport is still a better driver car out of the lot but NOT 40-50k better according to the reviewer.

IS350 is almost as good as the 335i but lack refinement in the handling area which the 335i shine (not that the ISx50 are bad, but the 3 series are just better). It beat/match 335i 0-100km sprint but a fraction slower after that. Equipment wise, we all know they both pretty good considering the price you pay for these cars, but obviously BMW will make you pay for all the extra whereas LEXUS are pretty much all standard. However, you can customise your 335i more than the IS350, BMW just have lot more interior/exterior options to pick, eg. all IS350 F-Sport only come in black interior. It was picked as the car to get out of the 3 cars.

Volvo...well is a volvo, what more you need to know???

  11. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/suspension-and-brakes/443831-f-sport-sway-bar-problem.html

Problem was discovered a little while ago. Looks like the floorpan of our boots is different the US chassis.

Not very nice at all. You now own a fancy blue paper weight :( Very sorry to hear it.

Great find! I actually saw it this morning...but that was too late...

Yeah, fancy paper weight or I can use it to replace my wooden bloom stick...

Look like I will be getting the JUN...

    Thanks for looking

  12. What is the difference between IS250 Prestige and IS250 F Sport?

AND will i be able to bargain one for ~70k (including the Moonroof option)?

    Thank You

LOL, already increasing your budget to 70k?

I will give you a hand, use the below price as a guideline, like I said price changes month by month with Lexus, these prices were quoted to me 2 mths ago. You might NOT able to get them especially with what happening with Japan at the moment, Lexus might not be as keen to move cars in volume. But you can work with these price. Prices were the best around the time, drive away prices.

2011 IS250 Prestige with moonroof and EMV ~$60k

2010 IS250 F-Sport with moonroof (already come with EMV as std) ~$64k

2011 IS250 F-Sport with moonroof (already come with EMV as std) ~$67k

You will find Lexus is more willing to do deals on IS250 than IS350, simply because IS350 still relatively new.

With your budget and being a P plate, I would suggest get the 2010 or 2011 IS250 Prestige/F-sport and keep the changes. Enjoy it and get something better in few years time.

  13. My budget will be 65k , will i be able to purchase an is350 with this?

More importantly, will i be able to drive it on Red P's (i got my Ls VERY late)?

    Thanks again everyone

You will have no problem getting both moonroof and EMV pack with this price. Might even able to get F-Sport version with the bigger wheels, sport seat/pedal, day timr running headlight and body kit. Just bargain hard with them.
