Hi Steve2006
I checked all the codes and there was none so upon that i started checking the speed sensors and lo and behold when i got to the right front there was no speed sensor. So the wrecker yard calling commenced and finally after much agonising i found one for $100, stuck it in and no more lights on dash yippeee.
Next thing...
I have sourced some leather seats from a 1990 celsior which is the same one i got the sensor from, are they a direct bolt in from the original material seats i have in there now?

HI all
My 1990 Toyota Celsior is showing an abs light and am wondering if this is a common problem and if so what it most likely is. Any help is much appreciated

Okay so here's the deal. I bought a used Toyota celsior and it had almost all of the problems associated with the car happening at the same time. The person that
last had the car had changed the suspension and wheels so that problem has been solved. However there are other common problems with this car and as this is a project and I am a poor student i need help to get this beautiful car back on the road. Mainly the parts I need to source are the power steering hose fittings. When I bought the car to a wof station for the first time it failed and I knew it would I just wanted to know what was wrong with the car so I could start sourcing parts for it.
The power steering part that i need is the hose/fitting the goes from the pump to the steering rack. The hose thats in there is all right I really only need the metal piece inside it and the hard rubber bit the slides over the metal piece. If anyone out there can help it would be much appreciated and of course if you can't quite understand me tell me and i'll try to give a better explanation.
Cheers

Hi there peoples,
As the proud new owner of a Lexus LS400(Toyota Celsior) I have discovered there are some unique problems that can
arise with this particular car. The air suspension has been dealt with so the only major problems are; the alternator(directly
below the power steering pump so is filled with liquid) I assume this is the problem and the reason that the car won't start. The only
other thing to do is the spark plugs I would say. When I turn the key there is a constant clicking noise (the battery is in good condition
and fully charged) so any help in this area would be appreciated. Another problem is the tachometer lags...not sure if this is a computer problem
or if it is the gauge itself.
Cheers and its great to finally have a beautiful sounding reliable V8 even if it has an 85 litre fuel tank.
