Did you end up putting the 24inch wheels on?

I can't imagine that they would fit and still maintain the original overall tyre diameter as it's a huge jump

I'm thinking of replacing my 18 inch wheels with 20 inch, and i'm worried about the possible harshness :)

it's getting towards the time when I need to change at least 2, if not all 4 of my tyres.

I've currently got 4 Yokohama Parada Spec X on there. Directional. They were pretty good, though I don't want to have directional tyres again as it makes rotation a bit difficult.

ANyway, apparently the original tyres on the 2007 RX 350 were Bridgestone Potenzas which are supposed to be quiet due to their close-block tread pattern.

Can anyone vouch for this as I didn't have the car from new?

ALternatively, please suggest another tyre which could be quiet on highways.

p.s. these are 235/55/18

Although I'm also thinking of changing the wheels to 20inch...but that will be the subject of another thread :)

saw this photo of a 2007 RX350 with nice looking after market wheels.

Was wondering if anyone had a clue as to the manufacturer/supplier of these wheels? Couldn't get any manufacturer details, but it did have those Japanese standards markings, so perhaps made in Japan?

I've tried to follow the Help file, but that refers to a 'sign in' button. The button isn't active for me. LIkewise the 'Sign in to Post" button on each forum page doesn't seem to turn into a clickable button for me.

just check if you're getting aftermarket ones that they 'blend' in well with the other front (dash top) speakers. Otherwise you might end up with strange boosts in various frequency ranges....

clunking noise when you turn sharp at slow speeds could be the CV joints....although that's usually more a clicking sound...

Very surprising on a car with such a low mileage..

Having said that, my 2007 RX's front bearing failed at 60,000km, and I've never had that on any car before!

I would think the US one would fit perfectly. $1300 for the part locally is ridiculous!

There should not be any left hand drive specifics to the US market. You might just want to check some photos of the rear bench seat of US cars to make sure that the 60/40 split is on the same side as ours!

Reason being is that on the sliding boot cover there are actually 'tabs' that attach to the rear headrest posts

You'd be hard pressed to find any 'performance' brakes for an RX as they aren't considered a performance car.

However I recently had to replace my OEM pads, and disks. Went with 'stock' aftermarket pads and disks. Seems to have improved the brake performance, as well as produce less black dust on the front wheels....
