I tried this as well from my iPhone 4S when I first got my car and got the same thing. It seems this feature is only supported on specific phones (Nokias from memory) but not the iPhones so unfortunately you need to start you call from the handset itself (unsafe I know) or just insert your regular contacts manually

Thanks Tony, i figured as much and manually entered the 20 odd contacts i required.

Hi all, I am unable to locate a copy of the navigation manual for my 08 RX 350. Can someone please advise where I could order one in from? I visited the local lexus dealer who advised I could order one from Toyota spare parties..went to them next door and they were unable to help.. Asked me to go back to Lexus service and order through them.. Gave up and came home..

There must be an easier way.??

Hi all, could someone please advise how I could transfer my contacts to the rx350 2008 phone book from my iphone 5. Bluetooth connects and am able to make and receive calls but don't want to manually enter all my contacts into the cars phone book if its possible to do so via Bluetooth.

I have tried to do this but nothing happens..

Any advice is much appreciated..

Hi Matt, not sure if this is the right forum to ask, I wanted to get some personalised settings changed. I'll obviously have to take the car to the dealer, would anyone know how much they would charge for making a few changes to the personalised settings in the car?

whereis.com.au have the map dvd for 295 plus postage.

Ebay has a seller selling it at 150. Version 18 is available much cheaper - though have found a torrent for v18. I should be able to burn the dvd and give it a try tomorrow.

As for the owners manual, Lexus canberra told me that I would have to come in to the service department and they would be able to order one in for me. I have contacted the dealer I got the car from in Sydney and they have assured me that they would post a manual to me shortly.

Need to get a new map dvd and an owners manual. Any ideas?
