I have noticed that the steering has become very stiff these days while turning. Any ideas of what causes it? or how can I make it more smoother ?

I have a 2008 Lexus IS 250. Recently I have had issues with sticky solenoid in transmission. Has anyone faced this issue?Or does anyone know if its a serious issue ? Initially I had the Check VSC signal. Took it to Lexus they found it was sticky solenoid.

I have a 2008 Lexus IS250. Does anyone know where I can get a 2012 F sport front bumper ?

Because I provided them the with 7 liters engine oil ( Mobil 1 5W - 30) .

I was returned with a bottle of 500ml left.

The reason why I am concerned is because there is an engine noise (vibrating noise) for the first 10 - 15 mins after starting the engine. But once it gets to the operating temperature the sounds seems to disappear. This never happened before the oil change.

I took my car for service to a toyota service . They over filled engine oil around about 200ml more than recommended. (6.3 l +200ml) i.e the oil level in dip stick shows it is above the high level. Will that be a problem ?

My IS 250 has clocked 69000km and is due for a service coz its been a year since its last service. I was wondering if i would do a basic service or the major 75k service. Annually my car runs 7k.

Also does any know any independent mechanic in perth who work on Lexus cars.

I have a 2008 IS250. It has done 68k kms.

While parking in slow speed when i fully turn the steering wheel to right or left it seem that the steering stays and sticks there and does not automatically return to center. I have to do it by my self. Mind you it only happens at speed of around 5km/h.

Is there a problem with ball joint ?

I have a 2008 IS250 EVM pack. I want to install another sub woofer in it. I was wondering if I will be able to connect the new sub to the existing amplifier? or do I need another amplifier ?

Lexus of Perth gave me a quote of $ 960. They are trying to rip off everyone coz their is only one dealer in perth.

I had it checked with the guys in lexus yesterday. They said it is normal to have a lag of 1 sec.

They also said that there is no need to change the transmission fluid as it is sealed and very long lasting.

BMWs Merc & Audis dont have a lag time in changing gear ... even mitsubishi lancer as well

I bought an 2008 IS250 2 months ago from lexus dealer in perth. The problem that I am facing is that when I change my gear from N (neutral ) to D (drive) there is a lag. ie It takes couple of sec to change from neutral to drive. Also the same happens when I change from N to R. Is it something very normal ? Or do I have a transmission issue? Should i change the transmission oil ? My car has only done only 62k. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks
