Hi guys,
looking to find anyone wrecking an early UCF10/11 Celsior. I need the plastic dryer bottle that sits alongside the air suspension compressor.
Please email to rhayden@bluegumbs.com.au if you can help out or know of a car being wrecked in your area.

It's a switch on the side of the compressor. It's a tacho switch that compares tacho signal with the car. If it fails it thinks that the compressor has locked up and is turning at a different speed to engine so it turns the AC off.

Soarer plugs and pins will fit if that helps.

Relay under the bonnet in the large box to the rear of the battery.
-
How many pumps of the brake pedal before the ABS electric motor kicks in. If under four, then accumulator is low on nitrogen.
-
If the gearstick has been removed it's really easy to fray the wires. then thy contact the shaft of the stick and can short out giving the warning light.
-
It's nothing special. A generic one from any AC supplier for a Camry or Avalon will work.

Keys for the early UCF10 and UCF11 cars came with an individual transponder that has to be fitted into the locking ECU. You can't just program the key.

Your idle up solenoid has failed when cold. It's on the front of the intake manifold and needs to be removed and cleaned.
-
Sounds like your PS pump has failed.

If the car was previously registered in QLD or another state then none of those things matter. The shop has done an 'engineering' check on your car rather than a check for roadworthy condition items as prescribed for registration purposes.
Take it to another shop.

Hi guys. I've been around for about 17 years now. Started the ALSC forum back in 1997. Owned a dozen or more cars and still have four or five. Both the wife and I drive Lexus / Toyota on a daily basis.

Thanks very much, I have four or five UZZ32's and two LS400's so I can nearly have a mini meet at my place on my own. Always good to catch up with like minded guys.
