  1. Hey guys,

I've just come across a GROM Audio devices that allows for Bluetooth and AUX integration into the stock radio. I've found a site where I can purchase one in Australia, here's the link (http://www.cushieaudio.com.au/lexus-bt3.html).

My question is, from the link provided, which option do I pick under "Lexus Data Cable"? I don't have access to the back of the stereo at the moment, so I'm hoping someone out there knows which option is correct for my car (listed below) Here are the options available if you're not able to access the link.

    • Data Cable (TOY) - $20.95
    • Data Cable (TOY-1) - $20.95
    • Data Cable (TOY-F) - $19.95
    • Data Cable (LEX) - $22.95

I have a Lexus IS200 2004 with built in navigation (not sure if that makes a difference). If you need any other information, please let me know.

    Thanks!

Best bet would be to send them a message. If the seller knows what they're selling you should get an accurate answer,

If that fails, send a message to Grom audio direct and ask them. http://www.gromaudio.com/support.html

I guess would be that its the same as a non GPS unit because IIRC the grom unit works solely off of the CD changer,

  2. I would like to say that I bought a set of the exact same guy one year ago. They fit fine and I feel that you are putting this seller down for something he sells that is actually a great quality product.

Oddzee, I'm not putting the seller down, just saying that the clips don't fit the (my) window frames.

If you could PM me with pics of how the clips fit, that would be great.

Also, on another note, does anyone know where I can buy just the super-sticky doub;e-sided tape that's used for fitting external car trim like this? i though I might give the visors another go, and just try fixing with the tape only, and not worrying about the clips.

I used that tape on the missus laser to hold her full size visors. Been there for 3months now and had no problem.

Double the tape up for your visors as it needs to be mounted further out for the clips to work.

Just remember to align visor and hold from the top with masking tape. Pull one bit of the tape plastic and push each part bit by bit.

I'll get pics for you later this arvo when I finish work. Better yet PM me your phone number and i'll text them to you,

  3. Has anyone purchased and fitted window visors like this? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/231390779560

The instructions are all Japanese, and I'm not exactly clear where (or which way up) the clips go, and the order of fixing them.

Anyone with an English set of instructions for JDM window visors, or have fitted them successfully? I know I seen a few pics of cars with visors fitted on the forum. I have searched Youtube for a video, but nothing gives me the detail of the clips and how to attach them.

Cheers, any help would be appreciated. Doesn't sound like much, but I don't want to trash the tape, or my window seals fitting them.

Don't buy them, biggest rip off on eBay. These type of shields are made of recycled material with toxic color. It has so much impurities in the acrylic that u will never get a crystal sharp view. Only worth $20, don't buy them as they are wayyy too cheap for any Lexus !
