U solve your problem? My brother concidering this model but seems a bit risky.

I read the mechanicals of the box are sound and that the control module/electronics are the problem.

U approached Lexus to register in a used control module? Since they leaving u in the lurch. coul they offer to plug in a new PCM for u on a works-charge basis?

Had lexus Perth change my timing belt and do oil/filter/airfilter/brake flush/diff/cooling flush and paid about 1200. 

Think was the 130k service with new belt which is  about $600 to do on its own.

Car only has 44k so water pump and idler was ok.

Hi All

Just bought 05 ls430 with 44k on Clock. Hope to get some hints here on running it (already bought wrong cabin filters for it)

Previous ride was orange Falcon 2013 FGii Turbo Manual, pretty distant  from LS philosophicaly but no regret thus far, although i miss ipod integration.

Any other perth ls430 pilots here?
