What are the thoughts on upgrading air intakes on a IS250?

1 - What type of performance improvements do they give?

2 - Is the performance increaae (if there is one) noticeable

3 - Anyone know the cost of buying locally or O/S.

You might gain a couple of HP & better throttle response. I can get my hands on TRD panel filters if you're interested. See my signature for details

i got a Fujita on my IS250

i only upgraded mine for the sound i get at full throttle over 3000rpm

when driving under 3000rpm and not at full throttle, you can't hear it at all

i'm also probably losing power as it has no heat shield and is getting all the hot air from the engine bay

bu it's not like the IS250 is powerful anyway

i Just got the proper K & N Typhoon kit for my 250. Delivered from the states it was $310. K & N have a dyno example in the kit from a 350 and it gained 12.06hp at the wheels, so i'll report what i get after the weekend.

I really am only hoping for some roar and a bit of throttle response...

seriously ppl need to start using the search function.

intakes, hids, parkers, leds, exhausts are the most commonly discussed things and theres a tonne of threads on tthem.

just about every week one of the above will come up as a new topic!
