Es300 Stereo Unlock Code Doesn't Work.

Hey Guys,

This is an effort of last resort. Following a dead battery my Es300 stereo displayed SEC. I did not receive the code from the previous owner and as such had to call the dealer. I took it in only to find that the factory reset code they use did not work. I left it with them for a full day and still they could not unlock the radio. I wont post the exact details of what the reset code is suffice to say it includes a 3 digit sequence followed by the pushing in of the volume followed by tune up and one followed by another 3 digit sequence followed by tune down and another 3 digit sequence then scan.

I would really appreciate any information on why the dealer cant unlock this stereo and what options I now have.
