Hi all. Just joined the Lexus Owners Club as I have bought a 2009 Model LS250. Just had a 75K service at a Lexus dealer who quoted $800 to upgrade my maps. Ridiculous. Any suggestions on where to download current maps and how to install to my car? PS Absolutely loving the car after driving a 3 YO Commodore.

I'm interested as well.. I have the flyaudio head unit installed in my 2009 IS250 and I've seen some youtube vids on how to update maps but... I have no idea where to download the "Map file" from? :S Help would be appreciated

Welcome to the forum Spuddy & congrats on your first Lexus.

$800 is certainly not what a dealer should be quoting you for a new Nav disc. That price is so far over I reckon there must be some sort of miscommunication.

You sure that didn't include any other work?

Here you go...

Any suggestions on where to download current maps.

FYI illegal copies aren't really promoted on here.

PM me, guys - and there are excellent threads on changing the SatNav DVD elsewhere in this forum - literally a 5 minute job.
