Hi,

I recently bought a 93 LS400 with only 106,000 ks on it in beautiful fully serviced documented condition. I had it for 3 weeks before a taxi ran a red light and wrote it off.

The right hand front guard, light, bonnet, grille, spoiler and radiator support panel are all stuffed.

I can get all the parts I need in a front cut in Sydney fairly cheaply but transport (500ks) fitting and repainting will be needed. As the car is over 13 yrs old it can be repaired and re registered no problem. I have a few grand I can spend from the insurance payout -so my question is:

Is it worth repairing ? What do you think it would cost (less parts) or should I just sell off all the good bits engine, gearbox ecu interior etc and look for another one ?

All input welcome

If the car is in great condition and you're just going to be getting another LS400 anyway I'd repair the existing car
