Leaking Cam Covers

hey guys

has anyone got tips on replacing the cam cover gaskets?

have all the parts but looking for any advice b4 I start.

I have done timing belt myself if anyone interested.

Great job on the cam belt change, you didn't write a tech on it did you?

no, but go to lexls.com and there is a great one, which I used myself.

be aware that LHD and RHD models are slightly different in the accessory drive areas, cos have brake masters and steering on op. sides.

I found this affected some of the bolts u need to undo differ from the tutorials, like a hidden bolt from passenger side going into the water pump which took me hours to discover.

its a big job but saves u heaps in labour.Also follow to the letter the instructions for routing of the plug leads, I ended up destroying several leads by getting them caught up in cam cover bolts.
