none of them indicate that this is a cost effective solution - the majority opinion being that this powerchip offers very little performance increase for the money.

thanks for your reply. I have seen the links, I am also registered for the UK Forum :P

However, these links are merely opinions/theoretical thoughts about this subject, but nobody actually installed one of these chips. Comparable chips are also available for other brands, like BMW 323i and 328i and they does add about 10% more power and torque.

Sometimes these chip tuning companies offer a money-back garantuee, so I thought that somebody would have tried
